IT IS TIME! The votes have been tallied and it was an interesting race. Reminders and information will be at the end so be sure to read it ALL! In fact everyone should read this… Hehe.

• The King and the princes will leave a fiery feathery trail whenever excited and can float a bit off the ground when happy, especially if in love.
  
• The Queen and princess will have a white cloud they can sit on that can float in the air and carry them around, leaving soft wispy trails when they feel excited and hopeful about anything.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE

ROYAL COURT

Traditionally only the winners get the special chance to wear spiffy costumes, but we're spinning this our own way and expanding the luxury to everyone who was nominated. We're sure they're thrilled. Now dubbed as part of the "Royal Court," everyone who was nominated will either be a fairy or a faun, and which it is is up to the players! We thought it would be more fun that way. While players are free to pick particular costumes, here are some examples to help give an idea of what they'll look like:

Fairies: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Fauns: 1, 2, 3, 4

Although these are costumes, the fairy wings can move and let the wear fly up a couple of feet (not too high) and float a bit for a short time. Fauns have the option to have furry pants or actual "hoof boots," and they'll have increased speed and can jump farther.

EVERYONE'S A FLOWER

Did you think your character was safe? OUR APRIL FOOL'S CONTINUES BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS GETTING A COSTUME! As a lovely flower.

Yes, this is not a joke, everyone else, NPCs and PCs, will be finding themselves in flowery costumes. These are going to vary between elegant and beautiful to downright hilarious, and it's all up to the players which they'd like to see their character in. And here are some examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (someone please do this), 7

The flower costumes also have bonus effects in which they can freely spread flowers with a wave of their hand and can sprinkle glitter pollen to spread love and joy to all~~~ However, this also may incite some anger and hatred because not everyone is a fan of glitter but that won't be a problem, right?

HOW COSTUMES WORK

Now to discuss how the costumes actually work. They are indeed costumes made of fabric and other materials, so no one is having strange transformations, but they may feel a bit lifelike with those additional effects to them. However, since this is still within a dreamshift, there is some special magic going on as to how they're applied.

The costumes magically appear on each individual and cannot be changed out of or removed for extended periods of time.

Remember the ugly sweaters from December? It's basically like that. While wearers can loosen, alter a bit, and take off pieces for short periods, the costume will magically appear or even fly up and wrap itself back on the wearer. Should anyone try to actually put on something different, the other clothes will just vanish and the original costume will appear instead.

Fortunately, the costumes will only last until sundown, so it's only a few hours that everyone must suffer enjoy their costume. Once sundown hits, the costume will disappear and the wearer's original clothes will appear in their place. (We did consider everyone finding themselves naked but we are not that kind of game—)

This is also a reminder that the costumes are in only effect on the final day of the festival, which is lasting 3 IC days. So in IC terms, this Sunday would be when the costumes take effect. OOCly the log will include a portion for this so players can incorporate this in their toplevels.

Finally, there is the option to keep the costume, which can be made ICly and or OOCly. If the player wants to mess with their character who would rather burn the thing, then there is the option for the costume to just appear in their closet and keep reappearing no matter what they do.
