It's time for the monthly Activity Check!

FOR THE FAE MOON MIRROR QUEST if your character participated and had a thread, please note it in the Extra Note section! We'll be using them in the upcoming June event. If you'd like to note anything special your character did during the Surprise Eggs mini log, you're welcome to write up blurbs for those as well!

Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:

• Only threads dated from MAY 1st through MAY 31st will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
  
  
• You must provide 2 threads of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character. This means it must be some combination of 5+5. Not 6+4 or 2+8.
  
  
• Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
  
  
• Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
  
  
• Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) was not used for the previous month.
  
  
• Test Drive threads will count, however we have a one TDM thread limit. Because our TDM is bimonthly, only the MONTH TDM will count for this AC. You cannot use the same thread from the previous AC.
  
  
• You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
  
  
• Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.

There will be no warnings. All submissions are due TUESDAY, MAY 31st 11:59PM US Central.

✵ BONUS INQUIRIES ✵

This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.

You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

Extra Note: Susato found Fae moon mirror shards hidden away within some rogue runaway books while helping out in the new library. She and Eustace split up and searched for more for a while, and agreed to keep their efforts going through the month.

For the eggs, Susato put together a baby mobile made of origami cranes in varying sizes and color, with the help of Herlock Sholmes. It's meant as a protection charm for the eggs; the cranes are burnt and used up if the charm is activated. Together she and Herlock also plastered stars, suns, and moons made of glowy paper all over the walls.

Extra Note: FEW THINGS technically happened last month but Trahearne and Eustace made a mandragora field that will happily allow anyone to pluck their leaves so long as they do it nicely or they will scream a lot. Susato and Eustace collected some of the fae moon mirror shards from flying books in the Tree of Stories! Uuuh what else, he helped with the Phantom plot as well as helped in dealing with Otto's nuclear reactor failure by zapping him. He did check on the eggs and got them blankets, as well as experienced one of the nightmares (moon rabbit with Nene) and electrocuted a lizard with Sholmes help in weakening the defenses with the Glowing Dawn. Very busy month for this guy.

Extra Note: Dr. Otto Octavius and his mechanical tentacle buddies finished his faulty nuclear reactor and switched it on. Thanks to the efforts of some valiant vigilante volunteers (and despite the efforts of two people who actually attempted to protect Otto from the vigilantes), the reactor was disarmed before too much damage could be caused. A good portion of the riverside warehouse that Octavius made his home has now collapsed and if anyone wants to raid it, feel free. There's not much left to be found there apart from some scraps of metal and spare machine parts that might still serve another purpose some day. Octavius himself is trapped in the Prison Tree, but as he's in a sleep coma throughout the first half of June, he's unavailable for comment. (Feel free to poke him with a long stick though.)

Extra Note: -Lae already mentioned how Trahearne and Eustace set up a mandragora field "last month" so that people can pick their leaves in a KIND and SUSTAINABLE manner.
-Trahearne and Herlock read some improvised children's literature to the eggs! Includes vampires and werewolves.
-Trahearne has also participated in Phantom's plot (still threading).
-In light of how the Tree of Stories library mostly only contains stories (~fiction~) from other worlds, Trahearne has set up a Songerein Archive near said library for everyone to submit and browse non-fiction information on the world the dreamwalkers live in. Any and every submission will be gratefully received!

Extra Note: For the eggs, Nene decorated the room with colorful star-shaped bunting, as well as made them plushies (from blobby little frogs to teddy bears)! She also dealt with an eraser getting in with Gorou... she may or may not have taken a hit from nightmare acid it's fine. After they hatched, she helped with the moon rabbit nightmare with Eustace, and made them donuts.
