Greetings and welcome everyone! We're excited to have everyone who joined the game so far. Feel free to use this post to tell us about yourself and characters, including any cool quirks or ideas you'd like to do!

hello, caprica! it's nice to meet you! i love sakura ✨ aerith is only one step away from being a magical girl herself...

remake is honestly pretty excellent!! i super recommend it if you have the time. they built up everyone so wonderfully and as someone else who grew up playing the og, it was so nostalgic and overwhelming... a play through would take a hot minute though lmao i feel like it's three times the size it was now! and i would love cr!! sakura would probably get hit with her big sister beam but i see a fellow flower themed magical girl i gotta say come to me.

Timezones be weird lol. I am always like okay so is it that release date for me or the next day because timezones? Always nice to meet someone in a similar/same timezone with better change to kinda boomerang maybe!

Clear Card follows on straight literally from where the original left off with Sakura and Syaoran reuniting after the timeskip of him being in Hong Kong for a while. New characters, same old adored ones! My only issue is being the Most Impatient for new chapters with it being released monthly. Volumes take a while to release officially so I often read it online asap.

I am def curious on the gameplay given how the original used both screens with the DS! It is definitely one I will get to at some point! But I couldn't resist saving that much to get it on Switch. I'm so ready to grate my teeth at Joshua's laugh all over again.

I have played the main story for the Remake! Just not yet gotten to the DLC yet but I know that introduces Yuffie. I loved how they expanded on stuff with the initial Midgar section (especially fleshing out some characters that didn't get as much time in the original. And even Barret! I loved him so much more than I already did from the original with the Remake giving him more attention.)

But yeeees! Sakura like what is this concept of older sib types that don't call me kaiju and eat my snacks????

oh gosh the dlc is so god i super love it, and can't recommend it enough. yuffie is honestly such a fantastic addition and genuinely, like, okay, i loved before but now?? ugh. genuinely blown away by how good she is. and the new stuff is all great, tbh, i thought i would be overwhelmed by the nomura-ness of it all but it worked out super well!

oh there's no calling her kaiju but snack sharing is very appreciated and encouraged. at least she'll never get upcharged for flowers or something...

Ah that's great to know! I wasn't sure on how much of it might be new exactly since I already played the original and already knew Yuffie through that and Crisis Core and all. So I hadn't looked into it too much, being unsure if there might be spoilers if it had much if anything new or different in comparison. It's definitely something I will get to though!

If Sakura only had Flower. Just creates all the flowers for Aerith to go around selling lol. And yes she will appreciate that, not just being a glutton eating all her snacks like Kero and Touya.

Yeah, it's definitely hard for digital releases. Always have to compute the times. But I'm definitely down for boomeranging when we're both available!

It's very button mashy still but it's dependent on your pin choices and their synergies too! I think the joycons can handle it, but if you have a pro controller, I highly suggest playing with that instead. Oh man, I'm excited for you to play it!

Yup, I always need to check if there's an exact time so I know if it will release that evening for me or the next day or something. But definitely, the advantage of timezones sometimes is the boomeranging! I'm down if you're around in the evenings after work for me which it looks like from this haha.

I don't want to go into it too much with spoilers, but yup. It's another whole series! I wasn't sure if it was just a little one shot for the anniversary when CLAMP announced it and it kept on coming lol.

Haa, yes the button mashing with certain pins. I remember that. I do have an Animal Crossing controller. Plus. Playing it in seeing the sprites in detail on the big tele screen sounds better to me if I can play it docked! I'm more playing Animal Crossing handheld since that is a more chill game and all but for a more story based one like this I prob will go for docked.

That was me with a couple of games recently. For physical copies, it's not a worry but I was waiting for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to release on Steam and it didn't have a timer. The date felt like a scam because of it, lmao. I'm still at work currently whoops but my hours are flexible anyways so I can probably work around it on some days.

Good to hear that they kept up with it if that's the case. Looks like they still have more of their story to tell.

That sounds about right for AC, having it handheld because it's chiller. But yes, definitely play TWEWY docked so you can see everyone in their full glory.

Haa, yeah. I like knowing a time if possible for when something is out/apps open in rp games or such so I can def be sure on when to expect it.

But yeah there's a lot more! It's already longer chapter wise than the previous series, over 50 chapters! And yes, I def want to see the adorable Rhyme again! I bet the art/sprites look great on the tele!

Totally understandable too! I used to have to memorize everyone's timezones way back when it came to tagging so I knew when I should've a bit more active in the past.

Whoa, that's a lot longer than I expected but still manageable to read. Maybe I can look it up soon. And the art totally got an upgrade with Neo, they really did well with modernizing it. They even use smartphones instead of flip phones now.

hi there! i'm kri and i'm here with link from breath of the wild, otherwise known as the forest gremlin one who doesn't wear green (i mean...he does, but like-- whatever that's not the point)

this particular iteration of link is characteristically quiet, but also a total weirdo who likes to climb all the things, throw stuff, and eat weird food. he's also a bit of a subtle troll, which is gonna be fun. he's gonna have a Really Great Time (tm) processing trauma, trying to re-civilize himself after so long camping by himself in the woods, and trying (""trying"") to keep zelda out of trouble. or at least keep her from giving him a heart attack. IT'S FINE.

i'll be continuing any threads in the tdm, because i am a backtag junkie, but if you don't wanna keep those meetings canon, i'm happy to plot something else out.
