Welcome to Songerein's CR Meme! A place where players can dump info on their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. We have a handy dandy form so go forth, tell us about yourself and your characters, and start plotting! You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond! Continuing or using things from the recent TDM.

Shirou is such a straightforward dude I'm sure he'd get along with Sora well! He cares too much about protecting his friends and family. It's his major character trait.

He'd be down with being a sparring buddy and practice dreamotion!! His dreamotion ability is conjuring blades but he wants to work towards more defensive capabilities so we might be able to do something with that

Well that is certainly doable! He is often by Gina's side and receptive to others! (Aside from having one accidentally licked someone unconscious, but that might just be because Ryunosuke is a noodle) So Alphen could meet him anytime!

Character: Asura | Onmyoji
Canon: Post-Celestial Realm arc (may be canon-updating soon)

About: Former Hero of the Celestial people turned King of Hell. Asura has a terrifying (and well-earned) reputation as Lord Mara of the Abyss, and as a ruthless God of Destruction, but this is partially an intentionally-cultivated persona. In truth, Asura is Chaotic Good incarnate, and is a genuinely good guy with a strong sense of justice and a penchant for mentoring others. That being said, he's also pragmatic, strongly prescribes to 'an eye for an eye', is really good at killing things, has berserker tendencies, and tends to go overboard when he loses himself in bloodlust. He's a good person at heart, but he's not necessarily nice, believing in Tough Love, and is outright hostile to those who he perceives as irredeemable. He's got beef with nobles and politicians, and can't stand hypocrisy (the irony being that he himself is a bit of a hypocrite), but his biggest trigger is people in positions of power abusing their positions to benefit themselves while trampling on those below them.

He's much nicer to children, and though he isn't a father, he's definitely a Dad. His fondest wish is to live a peaceful, boring life with the person he loves, and he enjoys farming, fishing, martial arts, musical theater, and extreme sports.

He's got some serious trauma and baggage but you'll have to reach Friendship Level 100 to unlock his Tragic Backstory, so don't expect him to share any of it.

Abilities: His main ability is spawning up to six enormous spinelike tentacles from his back, which are very sharp and very good at reducing things to chunky salsa form, but they're also dexterous enough that he can use them as multitools and sculpt fine details with them. These limbs are usually hidden away inside his back.

He's also got the accelerated healing typical of his race, and has some limited pyrokinesis, but he uses this sparingly and mostly as a tool rather than an offensive weapon.

As for Dreamotion powers, he hasn't really experimented much with it, but he does have an uncontrollable passive Dreamotion effect of every flower he touches transforming into a lotus.

Dreamwalker Form: Typically keeps the same appearance while Dreamwalking, but this is subject to change depending on the dream. Sometimes he'll appear only as a vaguely-humanoid shadow with glowing red eyes.

Plans: Still largely playing it by ear, but there's a good chance Asura is going to go through a canon-update in the near-future. This won't change much about him as a character and will have minimal effect on his interactions in Songerein, but some pretty major developments have happened recently in his canon that would be prudent for him to be aware of.

As for Song-related things, he's going to get involved in assisting with shipbuilding and will probably be a regular visitor to the beach so he can do some ocean fishing.

CR Dreams: The cop-out answer is "everything" of course.
For more specific types of CR, he gets along well with kids, military types, and hot-blooded individuals, but I would also love for him to get some more negative CR. People who disagree with his worldview and particular form of justice, nobles (especially those who don't fit his biased prejudice), etc.

G'raha Tia | Final Fantasy XIV

About: G'raha can easily be a walking spoiler for anyone who is not caught up with the game. Please let me know where you are in the game/if you'd like to opt-out of tagging so I know about just how much I can actually say in tags/chatter.For a more detailed look on his personality and his character, feel free to check out his app. Otherwise I'll be providing a tl;Dr here.

G'raha is a huge nerd scholar who likes to research about ancient civilizations and other such information. His primary focus of studies centers on all things Allagan due to his eyes and heritage. He's also really good at doing the whole "I've done nothing special" and "my deeds will hardly be remembered" spiel, despite proving to be a powerful magician in his own right. He has a photographic memory and wants to go on all sorts of adventures, but he's often tied down by fate whenever it comes down to it.

He often wears his heart on his sleeve and he's selfless to a fault. To the point that he has no self-preservation whenever someone else he cares about is in any kind of trouble. He's also willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good. Aggravatingly so in the eyes of his friends.

Abilities: most of G'raha's abilities are no longer available to him due to the fact that they're tied to the Crystal Tower in some way, but he's still very talented with magic. A few key spells that have come into play here (strangely enough) and in Shadowbringers and Endwalker are levitation, invisibility, and time manipulation. Though obviously not at all as impressive as they sound.

He's still canonly adapting and mastering levitation, but still manages to get by with it. Vanish was used twice in the story to hide the presence of his friends for a short time. Only one of them you witness. The other was just mentioned. And the last one a spell called "Break" which allows him to stop objects/people for a short time. I define this as time manipulation, but could just as easily be considered playing with gravity. He has also managed time travel shenanigans, but not at all well lol. Time is finicky to mess with.

Otherwise in Song, he does have access to all of his job stones, with a bonus. Because he is an All-Rounder in the game, he has access to Paladin, Black Mage, and White Mage. His bonus job stone is his Bard stone from his youth. His dreamotion is based on crystals though.

Dreamwalker Form: I'll be honest. I completely forgot you could take on other forms while dreamwalking, so he has no cool form. But I think I'd rather change it up with the dream type.

Plans: Currently, he has already established a few aetherytes that are used to teleport around in Reverein. He calls them revenytes and the run off of dreamotion instead of aether. He is going to be expanding them this month to add more around the area. (I meant to last month, but I took a hiatus for the month.)

Otherwise, other than helping Eustace out with trying to figure out personal teleporters, he has no other real plans. He's just been going with the flow and enjoying his time here.

CR Dreams: Everything. G'raha is currently in a close relationship with Madhuri and very happy, so he's spoken for there. However, I have been trying to tag out to new CR or old CR I haven't gotten around to for the past few months. I'd love for him to make more friends. There's still so many people I've been wanting to tag yet, so I'm open to about anything really.
