Reverein Talent Show Results
Hey all!
I just wanted to give a quick update about the results of the talent show competition.
First off, I'd like to personally thank everyone who participated in the event. The staff of the Grand Theatre House (and Emet-Selch) were absolutely thrilled by the turnout and have been buzzing with ideas ever since. Who knows what sorts of productions and shows might be headed your way next!
Secondly, the results! After consulting with my other judge, we decided the fairest way to determine the winners would be to use RNG, as the people's choice received no votes. Therefore, the grand prize was chosen randomly from those who filled out the application form, while the people's choice was chosen randomly from people who participated in the log AND who put on a show.
And so I'm pleased to announce that the winners are:
Anya for People's Choice. She will be receiving one regain bauble to do with as she sees fit. (Please comment here just so the mods will have record of the transfer!)
and
Dohalim il Qaras for the Grand Prize. He will be approached by the theatre director about scheduling his own upcoming month-long show at the theatre house. The rest of the staff will of course be eager to offer any help they can provide.
As for the rest of those who participated, the theatre offers their heartfelt thanks and warmly welcome all of you to come back anytime, either as a member of the audience or one of the theatre crew! They'd be especially interested if certain individuals might be willing to host workshops for developing complex dance routines and magical effects or staging convincing fight scenes...! (Hmm...)
The appropriate subthreads will be updated at a later date and please hit me up if you still desire a snarky scrap of artistic critique.
As for the brave souls who signed up for Solaris Theatrical Productions... Dohalim il Qaras, The Lady of Bliss, and Dorian Storm (and Alastor, should he so choose!) will be asked to jot down ideas for their first performance and all to reconvene in two weeks time. Of course, given recent events within Reverein, that first meeting may be slightly postponed out of necessity...
