DREAM NOTES #15: NOVEMBER 1, 2022

We're almost to the end of the year! As is common for this time of year, things will be a little "slower," but we'll provide plenty of stuff for folks to play around with. We have some additional housekeeping reminders so be sure to pay attention to those!

CALENDAR

Here is our current schedule for the month:

11/01: Apps open
11/03: Final apps due, begin processing apps
11/04~05: Player Intro post, CR Meme, and Local Event log go up
11/28-30: Activity Check
12/01: Dream Notes #16, new Dream Board, Plot With Me
12/??: EMP/ATP
12/??: Event
12/18: TDM
12/25: Reserves Open
12/29-31: Activity Check
DREAM TREND: This month's dream trends may involve any of the following themes: quiet moments with those closest; long journeys; food—lots of it.
WEATHER: As the season continues to get cooler, the temperatures are starting to fall a bit and are especially cold at night, so grab a jacket! It's also a bit windy out, all those leaves flying everywhere. Snow won't start falling until the very last few days of November.
OTHER NOTES: As the various squirrels, chipmunks, and other small critters start gathering their food stores for the winter, they may start getting into other people's homes and cause a bit of a mess. Some will also build nests within the branches of the treehouses, perhaps even outside. Most are harmless and will even help tidy up the tree a bit. But some could be pushy and territorial.

Apps are open, so good luck to everyone!

There's not much else going on from us, however there are a number of player run things that are occurring. Of the ones we know, looking for power crystals from Futaba and Thanksgiving dinner of sorts hosted by Alastor. So check those out as they come up!

ACTIVITY CHECK RESULTS

Congratulations to everyone who commented on our Activity Check! The following characters were removed from the game:

Han Yoojin | [personal profile] fffffclass
Loki Laufeyson/Odinson | [personal profile] whose_son_am_i
Mikaela Hyakuya | [personal profile] cravingdesires
(Tianyou) Zhao | [personal profile] seemagicshit

If anyone was swept because they missed AC, you can reapply in the next cycle. Just fair warning, we will notice if this happens more than once and we may not allow immediate reapplication the next time.

This puts our player population to 61/75, which means our new player reserve/apps slots are at a maximum 14—which is currently maxed out with current reserves so we'll see what our new totals will be after the app period!

Our player cap has returned to 75 max. Although we temporarily raised it to 90 as a courtesy and are happy about the turnout on the TDM, we are actually quite thankful that we didn't go over our usual cap. We will of course be willing to adjust in case we have another surge of interest, but we did pick this number for a reason as the game seems most stable at around the ~60-70 range.

Thank you and welcome to those who have joined us, and thank you to those who have stuck out with us for so long!

HIATUSES

As we head into the end of the year with a lot of heavy seasonal activities affecting everyone in different ways, we'd like to take the opportunity to say…

Please comment to the HIATUS page if you know you have plans or will be slower than usual for either November or December.

Whether it's family plans, health, work kicking up, the seasonal blues, burnout, or whatever other personal circumstances, both you and us will feel a lot better if you just go ahead and comment to the Hiatus page.

Even if you think you can pass AC, it never hurts to put one down just in case. Almost always people think they can but discover they can't until the last minute. Putting down a Hiatus does not prevent you from tagging the game, so if you do find yourself with more time and can tag, then great! You can and are encouraged to still comment to the AC so you're marked as a "P" and it won't be counted as an exemption. So if December turns out to be crap, you can still take a Hiatus and not have the November one marked against you.

For those who feel crummy about taking as Hiatus or think they should still provide something if they think they have some time still to tag around, giving half AC or however much you manage is also an option (with more than 5 comments as ideal).

In addition, we'll be a little more lenient in allowing extended hiatuses for this time period, just make sure to contact us about it as we will only allow it for severe RL or health (mental and physical) reasons (RP burnout will not count for this). Commenting can also act as a precautionary message so you don't find yourself scrambling and coming to us during the last week of the month. We have had a recent uptick of these happening lately and while we understand when there are unforeseen circumstances, a number of them could have been handled by commenting early. Alternatively, another player can proxy comment or contact us privately if they are aware of your situation and you just have to comment later to confirm. We know RP isn't anyone's priority so it's not going to be the first thing on a stressed out mind.

Once we're out of the holiday season we'll be back to our usual standard, but the basic gist of this message remains the same. So long as you're not throwing one every other month or abusing the system or something (in which case we would have to discuss whether you can stay in the game or not), leaving a precautionary note never hurts if you know you will be preoccupied with RL. Of course if a player is doing this too often we won't allow it, but every once in a while is fine.

Sorry if this comes off a bit heavy-handed, but as said earlier this is the season for it and we've been seeing an increase in people hesitating on taking a Hiatus when they should have even as a precaution, and that leaves them scrambling as the RL stressor took a heavier toll than expected. We just want to try and mitigate stress from both sides, and hopefully allowing a proxy will help a bit.

FREE PASSES+DECEMBER AC

As we pointed out in the last Activity Check, anyone who holds a free pass from last year has until the end of December to use them. They will not carry over into the new year.

For the December AC, just like last year we will only require half proof (1 thread of 5 comments). Anyone who provides the normal full proofs of two threads will earn a new free pass that can be used anytime in 2023. More details on how those will work will be given in the December Mod Notes, but thought it worth giving a heads up, especially for those who are trying to work out their holidays and hiatuses.

WORLD UPDATES

Be it new NPCs, creatures, places, or some other discovery or creation, the world of Songerein continues to grow! So here are a few things as a result of the Dream Board and other submissions:

Places:

  • The Wild Harvest serves various western and eastern style earth-based street food dishes. A special menu is rotated every month. Wild Harvest's specials for the month are:
Celestial Pastries: Various sweets coated with otherworldly jam made from a special starfruit found growing in the Wildlands. Its spread looks just like a starry night sky, with a sweet fruity taste to satisfy the hearts of adventurers everywhere. Available on cookies, doughnuts, and also spread on toast for a tasty breakfast. (Staring into the constellations for too long may cause a familiar object or person from home to appear, leaving one with a feeling of nostalgia.)

Soup Dumplings: Dumplings steamed with a seasoned pork filling by default and a hot, flavorful soup. The pork and its broth may be substituted for other meat to follow patrons' preferences, depending on what is available.

Steak n' Cheese Pretzel Bites: Buttery, soft pretzels stuffed generously with steak and melted cheddar cheese to keep you warm with the changing weather. We can also hold the steak if preferred for bites of pure, cheesy goodness, or substitute for other meat.

Bourbon Apple Cider Cocktail/Mocktail: A twist on the more traditional apple cider, this bourbon-leaning drink manages to taste fresh with a bright apple flavor, balancing sweet and tart. A nice warm burn and smoky cinnamon helps complete the flavor. Non-alcoholic version available on request.

Pumpkin Spice Drinks; available with a shot of cream liquor upon request

    • Cold Brew: Smooth with deep flavors of vanilla, this cold brew coffee mixes well with cinnamon, clove, ginger, allspice, and nutmeg to help blend the flavors of a pumpkin pie together with a slight nutty note. Topped with a pumpkin cream foam that ties it all together.

    • Latte: Light and creamy in flavor, this latte brings more of a punch of sweetness and notes of caramel with the usual pumpkin spice flavor. Topped with a sweet whipped pumpkin cream sprinkled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Other:

  • Stolas has been working on a star map to keep his mind busy. It's still a work in progress and with the hopeful edition of his daughter, will start naming some of the notable star patterns he has noticed. He has been trying to create his own 'grimoire' of sorts, filled with information he has come across about dreamotions and other useful data he discovered about Reverein. Whether or not it actually is magical, probably not, but it serves as a useful reference material.

  • Isabela is doing some finishing touches for her flower shop and she is about to open it up by around early November (tentative date).

  • Futaba has figured out the crystals that can power modern day appliances and electronics found by others waaay back when to be able to work with everything that people have with them now, and has mentioned a possible excursion to either find more of the crystals, OR an even bigger power source to 76 (or both).

  • 76 had received a clue on a new location for Glowing Dawn flowers from Eustace and Tifa and the old man isn't going to let any of that suffering be in vain of any sort. He has been slowly reaching out to a few farmers as well as making a mental list of those he's going to reach out to and invite along on an expedition out to the Wildlands/Wastelands.

  • Eustace and Reaper are secretly BFFs. Tifa could do so much better though. :D

EVENT REWARDS

And so as the sun rises to greet the first of November, the Haunted Carnival comes to a close. Just as strangely as it appeared it will disappear back into the fissure after ensuring no guest is left inside. Well, even if they were they would just be spat back out. The Master and everyone will bid everyone a fond farewell with a promise of, "We will meet again." Of course, they won't leave without a few parting gifts. Literally there is a giant wrapped present box right where the entrance fo the Halloween Carnival used to be.

  • Regain Bauble (x1). Within the first week of the month, everyone will find a special little bauble next to their pillow with a note that reads, "Thanks for the helping! Throw this into the Wishing Well to receive a special item from home. Just imagine the item and it will appear. (watch out for the glitter) Can also be used at the Observatory or gifted to others!" As briefly described, this bauble is basically the game's "regain token." With this item, characters can throw it into the Wishing Well and receive the item they think about. All regains are manifestations of the item rather than the original and are affected by the game's limitations so nerfs may need to be applied. All regain submissions may be posted to the Regain Wishing Well entry.

  • Location: Reverein Fairground. That strange present box will burst open and a new, more traditional standard fairground is created. It's smaller than the Halloween Carnival and only has some of the more basic attractions: game and food booths, ferris wheel, small roller coaster, bumper cars, love boat, tilt-o-whirl, carousel, house of mirrors. A circus tent could be installed, but it needs performers. While a few members of the original Nightmare Troupe stayed behind after coming to like the area, it's not enough to operate the entire fair at full capacity. So until more individuals join the staff, it will only be open on weekends. And as mentioned, these attractions are all normal. No strange spooky, cursed stuff here! Unless someone deliberately designs it.

  • Location Update: Holiday Haven. A few of the Halloween themed stores on Holiday Haven have been upgraded to have more items and potions in stock. This includes the new candy, Soul Candy, which appeared in the Cirque du Soulei. Eating it will change the individual to their dreamwalking form and they can have a "ghostly" experience for up to ten minutes. Mostly for pranks and fun, just be careful not to fly away! Better to have someone to help tether to just in case. A few more stores have also opened including Halloween themed cafes and restaurants.

  • Item: Costumes. Any costume characters appeared in while at the park will be mysteriously delivered by a raven that won't leave until the individual takes it. What they do after is up to them, no harm will be done even if it's thrown away.

  • Item: Plush Doll. Everyone will also find a plush doll version of themselves randomly appearing somewhere in the house. It will have a small bag of candy hearts and a little note thanking everyone for helping. It's not cursed………probably.

  • Unlocked: Quest to Create Story Eater Seal. Here is the final tally for the number of items received during the event:
    Clue #1 - Candy Hearts: 11
    Clue #2 - Mirror: 8
    Clue #3 - Mask: 10
    Clue #4 - Wine: 7

Pretty good haul! Thank you everyone who participated. The tapirs are currently holding the items while William Shakespeare and Edgar Allen Poe are debating on how to construct the book. That's right, both Shakespeare and Poe are in Songerein and are currently hiding in a "secret location" — except it's really not that secret as their voices can be heard occasionally at the Tree of Stories, arguing over this page and that as they pull out various books to use as resource material. One could try to say hello, but they will be too focused to say much more other than, "I'm busy." They disappear somewhere in the library tree, but where is a mystery… In any case, the next portion of this won't be done until closer to December. However, we do have a set timeline to use the latter end of January for the final showdown.

And that should be everything! World Directory will be updated with the new locations sometime this week month.

NPC Q&A

A couple of individuals went up to the tapirs and the Master to ask a few questions, and here is a list of what was discussed. It's a bit long as questions had follow-ups, so click on the questions to read the answers.

Questions to the Tapirs (mostly world building stuff):

Q: Are the tapirs native to the world?
A: "Sort of?" They exist in dreams and could travel to other places since they are not tethered to Songerein, but they have lived around it the longest since it's a good source of food.

    Q: Origins of the world.
A: It's created by a combination of different world energies—one from a problematic emotional world, one from a problematic dream world. Then the Story Eater tore a hole into the dimension Songerein was in and entities and elements from the Realm of Stories were dumped into the world and others found their way on their own through other rifts.

Although Songerein is a "dream" world, it's still a real world like any other. No one is dreaming up the world nor does it rely on dreams to exist. It was created by a smashing of different energies and could continue spinning in the universe even if no living entity existed on it.

Q: Is there a method or reason why certain people appear in this world?
A: Not that they know of, seems random to them. Maybe the dreamotion connection is stronger sometimes during dreaming.

Q: Can people voluntarily stay in Songerein OR can they leave and return at will?
A: "Probably." There are people that already exist completely separate, or transplanted, from their worlds, such as the fae and creatures that live in the Wildlands and beyond. Unlike the Dreamwalkers that live in Reverein, the rope-like dreamotion connection between Songerein and other worlds is completely severed, so they cannot easily traverse back where they came from. So there is an idea to "cut the rope" to try staying permanently, but they're not sure if it would work or if they would just poof back to their world instead. The rope isn't physical because it's dreamotion, so trying to cut it won't be easy.

An alternate idea is to tether themselves to Songerein instead, but that's also something they don't really know much about so no guarantee.

Q: Can people die and what happens?
A: For Dreamwalkers, nothing bad happens when they die because their current selves are "dream selves," not their real body—a fragment of themselves. As a "dream self," they're basically half dream and half real, which is why they can still feel pain, hunger, and all that as if they are their original selves. Should someone die in Songerein, the original self in their world would not be affected at all or even know, and the connection wouldn't be broken either ("Probably"). There aren't any known deaths so far, so it's unknown what would happen if their dream self dies, but they speculate they would turn into ghosts and have increased risk in turning noctaere because of potential bad emotions.

But if they somehow were to lose their connection to their world and live in Songerein like a local resident ("permaresident"), then should they die, they stay dead in Songerein because they're no longer a "dream self." (The original wouldn't be harmed because there is no connection.) They don't know if they could return if they managed to find a way back to Songerein, but another version could still appear.

Q: Do people who have died in their worlds have the same tether like the others?
A: Yes, but it's a lot "looser" than others. Because they're basically a floating soul they can more easily travel or get pulled into other worlds. The version in Songerein is still a fragment of that soul and is a dream self, but it would be possible to tether to Songerein and be "alive" again in this world.

Q: Do people really lose their memories upon leaving Songerein and is there a way to keep them?
A: Yes because they only exist in the world through the dream, so their original self wouldn't be able to retain anything. Occasional glimpses maybe, but it's all like a dream. Perhaps if the dreamotion connection was strong enough to remember everything like a dream they could remember, but they don't know how. They suggest reading world travel or regression stories to get ideas, or talking with the fae, dragons, or other entities that may hold some knowledge from their original worlds.

Another idea is using the bauble, refer to the questions about using baubles in reverse for more info on that.

The tapirs do warn that there are risks of items being sent to another world or memories retained as new knowledge or items that normally wouldn't exist could be used dangerously instead of just sentimental value.

Q: Is there a way to connect to other worlds similar to the Story Eater, but less destructive?
A: "Probably" as anything could be possible with the power of dreams, but they do caution about the risk, pointing to the Story Eater as an example. But there are other individuals who can easily travel between realms, like Santa.

Q: Is it possible to communicate with someone back in their original world?
A: Similar to the lost memories question, strong dreamotion could make it possible but it might still feel like a dream. If they know a spell or some technique and apply dreamotion to it, then maybe? But because of the different worlds it would be difficult and require a lot of dreamotion.

Q: Can the baubles be used in reverse and send something to another world, or communicate with someone there?
A: Maybe. The baubles work by using the person's dreamotion energy signature to connect to their world to retrieve an item. Maybe if they had something that still had traces of another person's dreamotion energy they could make a connection that way, though there's still the problem of how to send it out instead of pulling things in. Again, dreamotion or maybe something else in the world could be the key, but it's something worth looking into.

Q: Can dreamotion energy leak back to their respective worlds?
A: Dreamotion energy exists everywhere in some form, so "probably" and it is "probably" okay even if it does. There's also no risk of depletion because Songerein has an overabundance of dreamotion energy and more is always generated.

Q: Can this world be sealed from other worlds?
A: Probably if one managed to cut off all dreamotion connections to that world, but it would be difficult because of dreamotion existing everywhere.

Questions to the Master:

Q: Where is the Master from?
A: Members of the Nightmare Troupe come from different places with a hint of other dream worlds existing, but the Master himself does say he is now a resident of Songerein. "A young boy who dreamed of living in the limelight spreading joy and laughter...!"

Q: How did he come across information in how to deal with the Story Eater?
A: The Story Eater's antics are known all over the multiverse, but the Master does not divulge anything else.

Q: How will the Story Eater be contained and how reliable is it?
A: The Story Eater is too large and dangerous of an entity to just be expelled or banished and instead they will be creating a container for it to be sent back to the Realm of Stories where it will be monitored. So long as they do their job properly, it should be fine. However, history could repeat itself and another version could be born. That reason would need to be answered by the Storyteller, but the Master hints that it was born in the Realm of Stories and "things do not like to be forgotten."

Q: How can the Story Eater traverse through worlds?
A: Traveling through worlds and dimensions is not unique to the Story Eater, but it has a great amount of power and uses its ability to connect through stories to spread its reach and send its minions out through those stories.

Q: How can one gain more power in Songerein?
A: Dreamotion energy will be the main source of power and can be harnessed and accumulated beyond just dreamotion as it exists everywhere around them. He makes the comparison with magic and that there would be similar risks and difficulties. Nightmare energy can also be used to give a power boost. It can be both destructive and useful, it all depends on how one is able to control it. Like fire can burn or provide warmth, wind can tear through like a storm or be a gentle breeze.

    Q: Influence of nightmares.
A: Although not a question, the Master discusses the merits of nightmares and nightmare energy. While they can be used for destructive and nefarious purposes, they can also be used for positive uses. Using the carnival as an example, fear is normally seen as negative, but people also enjoy the thrill and succeeding in facing those fears. A peaceful life is well and good, but a little fear can spice things up and help keep up one's wits. Ultimately it is up to the individual in how nightmares are used.

Phew that was a lot. This information has been collected and gathered in various places, including the Tree of Stories ("Must record such an important event!!!" some librarian or researcher) so it can be found by anyone freely.

DRAGON ISLAND + HOT SPRINGS

Huzzah! The floating dragon island and their hot spring resort are officially open. Our Local Event Log that will go up after apps will allow characters to check out the place, and we have included one Dream Board quest as well! While we can't incorporate all the time, we will try to do so every now and then to give some other incentive for characters to go up there. Otherwise, players can have their characters visit anytime. So here's a quick overview of what's around that will also be covered by the log:

  • Transportation is provided by the hot air balloons that came in from Oz in September for a nominal fee of providing dreamotion to help aid the balloons and a few bananas for the flying monkeys manning them.

  • Island Geography. The floating island is huge, about 46 sq. mi., or the size of San Francisco, CA. Around most of the edges are mountains, with only one side open with a airdock port of sorts that was recently installed to aid those traveling to the island. Inside the island are varying pockets of valleys, lush forests, wide plains, rivers, and a sizable lake. Although it's largely inhabited by dragons, the biggest apex predator around, there are other beasts and monsters that could pose a threat to weaker beings.

  • Dragons are shapeshifters. By the way, did you know that most of the dragons can take on a humanesque form? It's true! Some dragons have taken on non-dragon spouses, particularly from the other fae. Some go full human appearance while others do a mix, such as keeping their tails, wings, and horns, or take on a more reptilian look. Some maintain an average human height, some smaller, some larger. There are even dragon races that only maintain this form and cannot turn into true dragons. Those who have seen the small rooms in the castles can now understand why. Thus the population of the floating island will have a diverse population.

  • Dragon Castles. There are a number of castles large and small that are built into the mountainsides of the floating island. These are mainly used to hoard all of their treasure, some personal to the dragon who owns the castle while others are community held. They also like to throw parties there. Maybe we'll have a fancy masquerade ball up there one day 👀 Valentine's maybe~? Better stay in their good graces!

  • Dragon Villages. Spread out over the flatter areas and some hidden deep within the forests and mountains are a number of villages for the various dragon races. Like any other population, their cultures will vary depending on the kind of dragons living there. Some are more scholarly, others more artistic or more prone to fighting. Despite the sizable population, there is no major city as the dragons still prefer to keep to themselves and find there are less clashes this way. Still, while there may be rivalries between certain groups, no one is considered an "enemy" so everyone more or less gets along.

  • Hot Springs Resort. Built halfway up one of the mountains is the hot springs resort. There is a small town set at the bottom of the mountain that everyone will need to enter through that also provides various local amenities such as food, clothing, medical aid, etc, and there are magic teleport circles that allow instant travel between the two locations. The resort itself is a mix of outside and inside the mountain.

    1. Outside there are several steaming pools of hot water that can be accessed, and there are buildings for both public and private lodgings and baths. It's great for those who want a scenic view, especially if one dares to go out near the edge of the pool to look over the ridge. Things are a lot more open here, so while there are natural walls and barriers, there's still less privacy compared to the indoor amenities. The dragons have installed special magic that should anyone accidentally fall, they will float back up to where they were. With winter coming and arriving sooner, there is already snow so it will be colder outside. It will look lovely, though! Have some pics: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

    2. Inside the mountain is where most of the lodging is installed, using the natural cavern rock and thermal heat to provide extra warmth. There are also indoor pools that can be used for both public and private use. Although they might not have a great view, they do offer privacy and the dragons have used magic and natural bioluminescent flora and moss to make the walls appear like the night sky or some other mystical feeling atmosphere. Have some pics: 1, 2

Guests can go into the water either in bathing suits or nude, and there are both designated separate and mixed gender pools.

The resort has its own restaurant that has mixed indoor and outdoor seating and also offers complimentary laundry services. They do provide all the robes and necessities for anyone to enjoy their stay at the hot springs as well. Whatever common service or resource found in hot springs establishments can be expected there. All in all, it's ultimately a place for everyone to relax, especially as the waters are rumored to have healing properties.

As for payment, they will accept all forms of gems, gold, and other precious goods. The more given, the better the service. Alternatively, helping out at the resort or the other dragon villages will also curry favor and could serve as payment or reward to stay at the resort.

That should be a good basic overview of what can be expected. We'll continue to flesh out as time goes on, and like with everything else in the game, players are welcome to come with anything that could fit the setting. Feel free to ask us for any other details you might like to know!

DREAM BOARD

How the Dream Board works:

  • This is all optional, the quests are just extra content for players and while they can sometimes relate to upcoming or current events, they're just kind of "filler" stuff. Some will be set out in Songerein proper while others may involve dreams.
  • The Dream Board can be found at the Plaza and quests will automatically appear on it like a bulletin board. Some will also appear in the journals. Anyone can accept them and rewards automatically generated upon completion of the task. It's a dream world, it's full of magic, it just knows.
  • Quests can be done as many times as a character would do them and rewards will be delivered to the character upon completion.
  • If you have any questions, comment to the designated subthread.

QUEST
REWARD
1101 Leprechaun Manhunt: Everything that went down this past September is still fresh on many people’s minds, especially with regards to those who were ultimately responsible for it. Some of the leprechauns that took the dragons’ treasure have been apprehended, but many remain still at large. Posters have started going up around town requesting their capture (along with another set of posters reminding people not to be a jerk about it and go after all the leprechauns). Continued positive relationship-building with the dragons.
1102 Dreams, Camera, Action!: An inventor in town has come up with something novel: dreamotion cameras! How do they work? Dreamotion and some gears and stuff, obviously.

They’re looking for people willing to test prototypes of the device, and are therefore handing them out for free. The thing about testing, however, is that things can go awry. Instead of taking a photograph, it captures a snapshot from the subject’s recent dreams. Oops?
Some awkward conversations and also some homemade cookies as thanks from the inventor.
1103 All I Want for Christmas Is You: Dreamers who have been here awhile (and people from worlds where Christmas is a thing) know that the holiday season is approaching. Rumors of a siren encased in ice are circulating among the fae in and around Reverein, as well as complaints that she emerges from her frozen prison earlier and earlier each year. Do you go and reinforce the ice to keep her there longer? Or do you speed up the melting process and set her free to ring in an early Christmastime?

(Note: Even if she's freed, some individuals will freeze her again to try and seal her back.)
Memes.
1104 Harvest Time: Time is running out to harvest crops before the first freeze, so it’s all hands on deck. Various farmers are putting out calls to help pull up the last root vegetables, gourds, leafy greens, and so forth. Both traditional farming methods and creative dreamotion harvest solutions are appreciated. a potion of the produce
1105 Harvest Time - Dragon Edition: Farms on the outskirts of the dragon villages on the floating island are also looking to finish their harvests. The fruits and vegetables that need to be picked may seem a bit odd to people unused to dragon societies. But the need is the same, and the dragon farmers will be grateful for the help! a portion of the weird produce, which may or may not be safe for non-dragons to eat
1106 Power Search: Looking for able-bodied anyone to help on an excursion to find a sizeable power source for Reverein. Please gather in the town center on the 15th and be prepared to travel into the Wastelands or the Outer Wilds if the Wastelands are too dangerous. Bring any supplies you may need and be prepared for making camps for at least two nights, just in case. (A log will go up for this!) If the venture is successful, a technological upgrade in town!
