Gwen is an alternate version of Spider-Man. She's the daughter of Captain Stacy, the police chief, and she's in a punk rock band called the Mary Janes with Mary Jane Watson. Instead of Peter Parker getting the radioactive spider bite, Gwen took his place. She has feelings of guilt about what happened to her universe's Peter and as a result has isolated herself from having any friends. She got better by the end, opening up to Miles Morales and the rest of the Spider-Gang.
