Eustace and Tifa managed to weaken the kirin enough to be able to purify it using the dreamotion drops that they had in their necklaces. The purification was successful and the herd of kirins will be able to help keep the nightmare energy at bay.

When the wisp returns to their normal form, they will return to keep watch on the kirin.

The nightmare energy is still stuck in the lake and the area surrounding it, however. Tifa and Eustace plan to fence it off so that they can return later with a plan to clean it up.
