Character: Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna ‘Anya’ Romanova of Russia | grandduchess_anya Canon: Anastasia (1997), Near the end of the film plus Forgotten Tales CRAU About: Anya is a very fictionalized version of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, who managed to survive a family tragedy with amnesia and goes on a quest to find her identity with two guys and her dog, while avoiding being attacked by a vengeful Rasputin and his green minions. She can be snarky AF, but she is also kind, loyal, determined, and creative in her art and thinking skills.
It is also worth noting that Anya comes in from the end of Forgotten Tales where she was among the Aspects fighting off the Story Eater who arrived to Songerein when it tried to flee from them during the last battle.
PLANS General: Anya has a job as a seamstress at Madame Blackbird so if you happen to frequent the place she is there to talk to. In addition, she is currently training her dreamotion skills and learning to fight with weapons too, so far she does do well with brooms, feather dusters, daggers, and swords. Dream Board: Anya is going to join Iris in the Nekomata quest, likely telling a story (not sure which one) right before the Pied Piper decided to curse the Wildlands. Event: Anya may have a history of fairy tale based dreamshifts but she is not safe from the Pied Piper’s curse this month. So into fairy tale character mode she goes. In this messed up forest, she will be taking the role of Maid Maleen: switching between kitchen maiden and bride forms, carrying a knife dagger, and prattling about nettle plants and having some limited plant manipulation. Also a pretty good cook too, if anyone wants to apply as the roles of the Prince, the maid and the false bride, feel free to plot away.
Finding the jar of her memories won’t be this hard but it might take a while to convince Maleen!Anya to get her back to normal. Good luck with that, folks. Even when she’s not herself, she’s still stubborn AF.
