This is bisexual disaster, Alex Chen. She is an orphan who's been no stranger to rejection all her life, when she finally reunites with her brother and finds a home in Haven Springs, Colorado--only to lose him in a tragic mining accident, which she suspects wasn't an accident at all.
Alex is an empath. When around other people feeling very strong emotions, she sees them as auras around them (red for anger, for example), and she is able to absorb those emotions. She sees her powers as a curse, initially, but she finds out she can use them to really help people, and has been trying to do right by Haven Springs' citizens since.
She has two canon romantic love interests and definite swings both ways: Ryan and Steph. She gets a job at the Black Lantern, the local bar, and also happens to live above that bar, so she's pretty friendly and has some customer service experience when she's not being totally awkward. She likes doing LARP, but is new at it. She LOVES music/playing guitar, and is an up-and-coming musician looking to spread her music (though she initially has stage fright).
I feel like she could be a good fit here, but I fear doing her justice, as I already have another character in the game and I've been mulling over apping her basically since the new year. Maybe in March, I'll finally make a decision.
