Welcome to our first Enable Me Plz meme! We have two different forms for your use. The one you see right now is for EMP ads for players who have a character they're interested in bringing in and could use some feedback or encouragement. Also serves for anyone who just want to express their interest of hey, this is who I want to bring! For those advertising themselves, include information about the character and what you hope to do while in game! It's a great opportunity for questions, too.

As for image limitations, the code will automatically resize large images widths to 200px (images under 200px won't be affected) so you can use whatever you want that looks good. Gifs, static, whatever fits.

You can put multiple ads in one comment or make them separate, whatever you prefer!

TALES OF BERSERIA

Technically we want all the Tales, but I'll be pitching for my cast! Rokurou and Eizen have been left uncontrolled in this place for too long and could use a Velvet, Eleanor, or Laphicet to try and keep them (mainly Rokurou) in check. However, let us imagine Magilou in such a place where all her witchy witch dreams can come true! Literally.

To the dismay and chaos of others most likely.

And given the composition of the group, it would be a fun mix of dreams and nightmares all around.

I am also going to throw in a special pitch for Edna for my boy Eizen because bringing the earth sibs together would be a dream come true...!!

GRANBLUE FANTASY

It's only Eustace right now, but I would love to see anyone else from the game, especially Society members: Ilsa, Beatrix, Zeta, Vaseraga, Cassius, Isaac. Gran or Djeeta would also be fun, and Lyria would be adorable as well! Vyrn, too. I'm sure if anyone from the Society group were to see Eustace with all his dogs they would definitely be convinced they're dreaming.

Also consider after the recent event, Cassius dreaming about ramen. And making ramen. Live your dreams—

But as much as I'm hard pitching for fellow Society members, really anyone to play off cross-game interactions would be fun!

Genshin Impact

This is my son, Benny boy. He's a cheerful, good-natured young adventurer with big dreams and low self-esteem. He's knowledgeable about everything it takes to survive on an adventure, he's good with a sword, he's got a Pyro vision, and he's extremely tenacious. He's got everything it takes to be a rising star in the Adventurer's Guild, except for one problem.

He's cursed with almost supernatural levels of bad luck. If there's an opportunity for something to go wrong for him, it more than likely will go wrong. This has understandably taken its toll on his self-esteem--after all, who would want to adventure with someone who only brings misfortune to those around him? And yet, despite his own warped perception of himself, he keeps on doing what makes him happy and tries not to let his bad luck get him down too much.

If I brought him in, I think it'd be interesting to explore and face some of his deeper issues that he doesn't really talk about much, and his bad luck provides a chaotic factor to any situation. You never know what might happen with Benny around!

Magia Record

Say hello to Sana! She's from Magia Record AKA that Madoka mobile game so you can probably imagine the kind of life she leads--

Which is to say she is a tiny girl with cripplingly low self-esteem whose wish was to disappear because she came to view herself as someone who only caused problems for others by existing. The wish came true (sort of) by making her invisible to all normies, and her family hasn't even realized she's "missing".

I think bringing her here could give her a chance at finally being able to connect with all sorts of different people and ideally have a supportive group of CR who will treat her better than her actual family (the bar is low, trust me) while continuing to work on getting stronger and lending her aid as a Magical Girl. And you know, facing all of her inner demons that come with being a Magical Girl and her very very sad life.

Hello, I'm Eski and I've been making eyes at this place a little while. I'm waffling on the character I'd want to bring and I think my top two choices are sword boys from the series Touken Ranbu. There's some folklore/legend stuff but basically, they're spirits of swords. I can only bring one sword boy though so...

Touken Ranbu

A sword spirit that is an actual agent of chaos and 1000+ year-old cranekin.

He presents as a friendly menace that needs to be the way that he is because he gets bored easily. He has a whimsical nature and his mood switches from genuinely friendly and casual to cool and distant to being problematically hype about bEiNg StAiNeD rEd WiTh ThE bLoOd Of HiS eNeMiEs. He's honestly a good person though and he doesn't try to hide that but he has to be difficult to hide the fact he's actually a sad, semi-immortal, white-haired anime grandpa that loves people.

The general TL;DR for my plans with him would be to explore how he does in a setting that deals heavily with emotions and dreams when... he restrains a lot of his emotions and dreams make him more uncomfortable than he'd ever want to admit. He's very supportive and encouraging when it comes to other people but when it comes to himself, he low key thinks he doesn't deserve nice things but he's also tired of his own misfortune. 🙃 He's named after the crane which is featured heavily in traditional folklore and that inspires his base personality. Leaning into his more abstract/spirit-y side is also... another way he copes with himself so like... there's potential for him to go in different ways in the setting haha.

Urashima Kotetsu
Touken Ranbu

A pure cinnamon roll of a little brother that just wants everyone to get along.

He has sunny shounen energy; very friendly, supportive, pretty naive, and is just slightly off in the sense he thinks kind of fantastically about spirits, gods, legends, etc. Has an affinity for turtles and really wants to meet a dragon. Despite being a good boy, his specialty is night battles in closed spaces (see: assassinations) and while fighting is always an option, he'd rather everyone just get along peacefully. He just wants to be everyone's friend and for all of his friends to get along and be happy.

The general TL;DR for Urashima is... He's a dreamer and wears his heart on his sleeve. He's fairly well adjusted if you ignore his slightly off moments where he's kind of unnaturally naive and accepting about certain things. He's younger than Tsurumaru though and there are a lot of things he still hasn't experienced. He's named after a folk-hero and it's inspired his base personality so he'd just be really hype about adventures, exploring things, making new friends, maybe meeting a dragon/cute princess, etc.

Gina Lestrade
The Great Ace Attorney

Here have this very loosely (S)Holmes-inspired Ace Attorney character! Gina's a plucky British girl who spent most of her life as a pickpocket, until recently trying to learn how to be a detective. She can be both friendly and grumpy, capable of being tsun about her emotions while also having trust issues, although she has worked on some of those and is much more approachable than she used to be. Despite going lawful, she still has a strong rebellious and mischievous streak! She's also still in the process of becoming more book-smart, as she just recently learned how to read every letter. Also, she likes firing a gas/fireworks gun at random moments because they had to get their money's worth out of the sprite they made for that. And she comes with an adorable dog who has a keen nose!

I think she would be a fun fit for the setting! I generally want to explore her working on her trust issues more, facing moral quandaries including some spoilery issues from Great Ace Attorney 2, and also facing her future and deciding exactly what kind of person she wants to be. She is a character in the process of voicetesting, though, as she's tricky to write with her Cockney accent. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, but the test drive meme will likely be a literal testing ground for her! I had Dick Gumshoe on the previous test drive, but I felt like it might be fun to go for someone new, so here she hopefully is!

Hunter De Vil may not be the best role model or anything (in case the name didn't tip you off) but as someone who is also from a bad family situation he'd be more inclined to hang out with Sana. Lonely kids gotta stick together!

I'm wanting to see some doggos from 101 Dalmatian Street! Any character would do, but I'm hoping for any of the dalmatians or Fergus the fox the most.

However, since I don't think many people are familiar with the canon, so I'm extending my invitation to the entire 101 Dalmatians franchise. This means the original 1961 animated film, the 1990's live action remake... That recent Cruella movie counts... Since Hunter's supposed to be Cruella's grandnephew, this means he'd end up meeting either someone from the past or someone from a weird alternate universe and I am all for the chaos that ensues.

GENSHIN IMPACT

Venti is a wandering bard and archer from the windy region of Mondstadt. He’s a fearless, sassy, carefree, forward person who loves to rhyme, sing and get drunk off the finest wines that anyone has to offer (okay, he’ll drink the cheap stuff too). But underneath all that Venti is actually a god, the Anemo Archon Barbatos making him the long-lasting god of freedom and wind and archon of the region. His hidden archon personality is much more serious, philosophical and intelligent. But he usually rather just play, drink and sing and be kind of a menace.

Coming into this world Venti would be very intrigued about the idea of dreams and emotional states. While he would be incredibly worried about his home city he would embrace this one and its wonders for what it is. I'm thinking his music would create emotional reactions that would manifest around him in all sorts of whimsical ways. And his anemo power would grow wild and strong with powerful emotional states.

I'm looking forward to displacing him from Teyvat! And for him to run things amok for FREEDOM BABY. Be lazy or die trying.

The Great Ace Attorney

Current Cast: Barok Van Zieks, Daley Vigil, Kazuma Asogi, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, Susato Mikotoba, Yujin Mikotoba. Everyone except for Kazuma and Daley are post-TGAA2 for canonpoint reference.

We still have 4 slots left to fill the TGAA crew! (Also as a note, since TGAA is far separated from mainline, TGAA does not actually take up any AA slots. So if there are people out there looking to join with an AA character, they'll have a separate character cap from TGAA!).

TGAA is a spin off Ace Attorney series that follows Phoenix Wright's ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodo during the Meiji/Victorian era. There are two games of fun, suffering and a wholesome cast of characters to choose from!

We'll take anyone, but I know we would really love to see Herlock Sholmes, Iris Wilson, Rei Membami, Gina Lestrade, and/or Tobias Gregson. We all know you're looking with Gina already Gore. Come to us.

XIAO
GENSHIN IMPACT

Xiao is an Adeptus from the land of Liyue. He is a bit hard to approach, since he can come off as harsh, uncaring, and even aloof. Xiao doesn't particularly like to deal with humans, though out of loyalty to the Archon of the land he will protect them. He can be seen taking down enemies and threats throughout Liyue, though people kind of cringe at his methodology. Xiao is known as the Conqueror of Demons and one of the last remaining Yaksha that had been called by the Geo Archon to bring about order to Liyue. The reality is that Xiao only knows battle, though he secretly dreams of being able to participate in "frivolous" activities like song and dance instead of simply being a weapon. However he just doesn't see that as a reality for him.

Considering his contract to protect Liyue has changed, he had already sort of been trying to find his place again since humans are now going to be taking responsibility for Liyue in general. This has made him a little restless, since he wants to act but refrains. I would think that this would just add onto that sort of adjustment. It would be interesting to see him in a setting where he may or may not actually be able to explore his longing desire to be more at peace.

Additionally... Xiao has been known to eat dreams! I think that would be something a little fun to manage in this setting!

Alex Chen
Life is Strange: True Colors

This is bisexual disaster, Alex Chen. She is an orphan who's been no stranger to rejection all her life, when she finally reunites with her brother and finds a home in Haven Springs, Colorado--only to lose him in a tragic mining accident, which she suspects wasn't an accident at all.

Alex is an empath. When around other people feeling very strong emotions, she sees them as auras around them (red for anger, for example), and she is able to absorb those emotions. She sees her powers as a curse, initially, but she finds out she can use them to really help people, and has been trying to do right by Haven Springs' citizens since.

She has two canon romantic love interests and definite swings both ways: Ryan and Steph. She gets a job at the Black Lantern, the local bar, and also happens to live above that bar, so she's pretty friendly and has some customer service experience when she's not being totally awkward. She likes doing LARP, but is new at it. She LOVES music/playing guitar, and is an up-and-coming musician looking to spread her music (though she initially has stage fright).

I feel like she could be a good fit here, but I fear doing her justice, as I already have another character in the game and I've been mulling over apping her basically since the new year. Maybe in March, I'll finally make a decision.
