✵ CR MEME: MAY 2022 ✵
Welcome to Songerein's CR Meme! A place where players can dump info on their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. We have a handy dandy form so go forth, tell us about yourself and your characters, and start plotting! You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond! Continuing or using things from the recent TDM.
If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

About: Briefly talk about the character. Can include background info or just stick with personality traits—whatever will be most useful to help other players learn about them!
Abilities: Include both canon and whatever kind of abilities you're thinking about developing with them, especially when dreamwalking!
Dreamwalker Form: Does the character have a cool, unique form when dreamwalking or do they look like themselves? Do you change it up depending on the dream?
Plans: Any ideas or plans you'd like to do with your character? This could be short term, such as what items from the Dream Board or TDM, or long term.
CR Dreams: What kind of CR do you wish to have? Include what you can offer with your character as well.
Etc.: Anything else or, you know, the usual memes.

Canon: Original Character
About: Doctor's apprentice, son of a god, and former brothel errand boy gets blessed by the sun god (not his parent), which causes many problems for everyone but especially himself. Some of those problems involve getting grievously injured more times in the past year than he's ever been in his entire life. If this sounds somewhat ridiculous, that's because it is and he knows it.
He's a responsible, mature, and mild-mannered kid except when he's being sassy, petty and stubborn instead. He's someone who grew up quickly but is also still obviously young, cynical about people while also being idealistic enough to want to believe that doing the Right Thing matters, and highly independent and prideful about it. He's a good kid at heart, just also one that's Seen Some Shit and is so intensely loyalty he's ready to Do Some Shit himself.
Abilities: Honestly I'm gonna link to his app for the full details but tl;dr, capable of wuxia-tier athletics, extremely good at reading people when he pays attention with a specialization in detecting dishonesty, can cast a small selection of sorcery spells, and also can't ever get lost (barring supernatural shenanigans). He can also see and interact with spirits! Characters who can detect soul-related or other spiritual nonsense can probably tell he 1) isn't entirely human himself and/or 2) he's got the sun god's blessing stapled to his soul.
I have not worked out what his dreamotion magic might be, I think it'd be neat if it was something related to insight or guidance? We'll see.
Dreamwalker Form: Sometimes he'll have a glowing crown floating above his head. He's going to be very annoyed once he realises what that's referring to.
Plans: Standard "getting him established" here things, like having him meet people and explore the setting! He's probably gonna camp out in the library now that it's been added, so I'll probably have him do the bookkeeping dream board request.
Long-term, I'd like to work towards him unpacking some of his experiences because honestly he's been through some really upsetting stuff that will need content warnings, but this is a long-term project since that requires CR for him to talk to. I just want him to actually talk about himself because he just...doesn't for most of the part.
CR Dreams:
- Friends around his age! He struggled to relate with other kids when he was younger, and the only friend he has around his age back home is also his best friend and codependency life partner, so. He's kind of awkward but I think it'd be nice for him to make more friends and prove his past experiences wrong.
- Sibling figures, he has powerful sassy younger brother energy and honestly he's more comfortable talking to people who are older than him because that was 95% of his socialisation growing up. Parental figures are a little dicier, since he has some pretty complicated and fraught feelings related to that, but they could go either way.
- If you have any weird non-humans, especially gods and/or really old non-humans who may or may not really get humanity, please bother this child. He's more used to dealing with this sort of thing than he'd like and it's an entire Thing that many non-humans think he's amusing, for better or worse.
- Honestly just throw anything at me and we'll see how it goes.

That said I THINK by now he'd have figured out Unamed can't hear, or at least can't really speak, so at some point he's probably gonna try and figure out some way for them to communicate properly. Or at least approaching that.
Also possibly figure out something to call him by, because names are important.
