First of all, the mod team asked us to include the fact that thanks to increased nightmare tension, there's been an increase in crime and minor disruptions in town. So if anyone would like to play with that, feel free!

The main purpose of this post is a small player plot that we'll be kickstarting. As you may have noticed, Noel Vermillion had a tiny little mental breakdown and reverted to her Mu-12 persona, which is basically just an emotionless killing machine. She's willing to take orders from just about anyone crazy enough to try giving her any. Cue Otto Octavius, aka Doc Ock, who knows a good opportunity when he sees one. He'll be sending Mu to steal some materials and tools for him- first from some local forges and then later on from the hatmaker NPC. He's not going to explicitly tell Mu to destroy anything, but depending on how much resistance she faces, there will be collateral damage. ("So anyway, I start blasting…") She'll succeed in bringing some stuff back to Otto's hideout, but will eventually need to be caught by a few brave heroes. The best (and quite frankly easiest) way to achieve that would be to cause Mu to turn back into her Noel self, which would require wearing her down with a fight and giving her some pep talk to force her to get her shit back together. Depending on how things play out and how big of a snitch Noel is, Otto will need to be caught too. If it helps, the hatmaker can add some trace magic onto the stuff Mu steals from there to make it easier to follow her.

ICly, this will probably play out around the 30th of the month, give or take a few days depending on how hard we need to dodge the end of the owl event. We're flexible, so feel free to give input on that!
