Character: Shigeru Miyata | mysophobic Canon: Going undercover at Leuban University
About: Shigeru is a mute mysophobic phrobiest from a world that's similar to Earth but has a lot of differences. Phrobiests are people whose bloodline has been cursed by the felled Dark God Malnemnious and the curse grants those with it powers based on specific phobias. The more phrobiest use their powers the closer they are to losing control and essentially turning into eldritch monsters under Malnemnious' command. Despite all of that Shigeru is pretty happy/chipper and tries to make the most of his situation. He's rather shy due to his phobia/upbringing not really allowing for early socialization when he was younger. Phrobiests are also somewhat shunned by the general populace due to their monstrous origins and overall strange position in the world. They're used to fighting monsters but also become the monsters they wind up fighting, so a lot of people don't exactly want to associate themselves with them.
Shigeru is a healer and was part of a special ops team back home before getting pulled here so his medical training is topnotch and his fighting skills are pretty good as well. He fights with sword and shield and he's basically a huge worrywart for his team. He's also very good at cooking, drawing, and sign language!
Abilities: Healing dreamotion is probably something he's going to focus on for the time being just because using his powers is a bit of a double edge sword. Other than that his own abilities are listed: here for your perusal.

General:
Clinic; Would like to do a clinic shenanigans log mostly just Shigeru looking for more healers and giving some first aid training for people who want it. But also decorating the clinic for the holiday seasons, maybe?! At least to make it more inviting on the outside especially.
Cooking; Going to make a network post about different ethnic foods and people's favorite dishes from their world! But having some cooking buddies to bounce ideas/new recipes off of would be nice!
Dream sharing; Definitely want to delve into Shigeru's terrible past?? Thanks to the mirror sheningans of last month Shigeru's nightmares are not...good. So he hasn't been sleeping a lot but if people want to be drawn into a hellish nightmare lmk!
Dream Board: Power Search; If anyone plans on going out to the Wastelands Shigeru will come along! He's a trained medic and doctor so anything that might happen he can offer heals and fighting too!
Event: Hot Springs Episode; Mostly will be making a toplevel/prompt for the hotsprings portion of the event. Sfw and Nsfw prompts will be had, if anyone wants the latter hit me up to discuss. Shigeru is a thirsty man even if he's shy but with some of the side effects of the dragon fruits snacks, it might allow him to get over his anxiety and phobias for a little spicy bath time, hehe.
CR Dreams:
1) Nonhumans - people who are cursed are a plus 2) Cooking buddies - people who aren't afraid to experiment with whacky stuff 3) Sparring people?? Maybe people who injure themselves so Shigeru can mother hen them every time they go to the clinic. He will do this and be disapproving of it! 4) Sign language buddies - people willing to learn (I might add an open TL for a private one on one session this time. Feel free to discuss with me and handwave prior sessions if you'd like!) 5) Doctor/Medical types - anyone who wants to learn or knows about medical stuff is always a plus! 6) Wanted but not necessary - I would love to get into a slow burn ship with my doofus here. Since Shigeru is gay it'd be m/m only but like I said it's not a requirement though I would love to play it out.
