✵ CR MEME: NOVEMBER 2022 ✵
Welcome to Songerein's CR Meme! A place where players can dump info on their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. We have a handy dandy form so go forth, tell us about yourself and your characters, and start plotting! You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond! Continuing or using things from the recent TDM.
If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Canon: After the events of obtaining the Sky Dragon's soul
About: A kind-hearted, friendly, but rather insecure boy who also just so happens to be the host of the Shining Dragon (and a decent dose of Sad Backstory). As a result he's very timid and worries a lot about hurting other people with his power. He's also used to being a little outcast, lonely, and put up on a pedestal for it. He tends to be easily dragged into things but all in all he's a good friend. He may be a pushover but he still has his limits; he will call you out for being unreasonably cruel. He can be easily intimidated but that doesn't mean he's not down for small talk! Also he does have a fondness for music. Not just because it was often used to calm him when he went berserk, but he just likes a nice tune. If you're a musician then chances are you'll get along pretty well with him.
He's also great at encouraging and being kind to his friends but by god he can get flustered pretty easily when flirted with.
Abilities: He's pretty decent with a two-handed sword and also has a small variety of magic, from buffs to a bit of healing and a lightning spell. None of his magic is particularly massive or ultra-powerful, but he has some decent variety.
While normally he is able to shapeshift into the Shining Dragon, that power has become dormant upon his arrival. In time, he may decide to recreate that ability, albeit without the many dangers that come with it. After all, he doesn't want to accidentally wipe a mountain off the map because he got startled by a bug.
Again.In the meantime, he'll most likely appear as the Shining Dragon - in its restrained form - in the dreamscape. He's got mixed feelings about this, but he's getting used to it. He's also trying to experiment with dreamotion to form some light spells, in hopes that he can learn ways to use that ability in less harmful ways...but he's still got to get over his fears of hurting others first.
PLANS
General: He's working on getting a handle on dreamotion, but he could use some help on that front since he's still uncertain about it. He'll probably just start off with some smaller light spells but maybe work his way towards conjuring some illusions (with the end goal to semi-recreate his dragon form).
Dream Board: All of them look pretty appealing, especially:

Event: He's going to be VERY interested in visiting the dragon springs! And maybe some hot pot stuff as well! I'll try to make a toplevel if I can muster the energy but if not I'll be doing some tagging out c: He's especially going to be shocked that the dragons are shapeshifters
CR Dreams: Friends and found family are always welcome! Yuma does not do well by himself as he's prone to spirals of insecurity and defeatism. However, around other people this very quickly does a 180, and not just because of the possibility of others reassuring him. Just being around other people who are kind to him and treat him as an equal is enough to lift his spirits and make him feel a little more normal and accepted.
Yuma can also be a reliable and empathetic friend, willing to encourage others and reassure them if they're having troubles. He's also great as a voice of caution, given how wary he is of people being hurt. Alternately, if you just want to be friends with a dragon, it's hard to go wrong with him. (Though he's still working on getting that form back, so he's just gonna be human for now...)
