Welcome to Songerein's CR Meme! A place where players can dump info on their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. We have a handy dandy form so go forth, tell us about yourself and your characters, and start plotting! You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond! Continuing or using things from the recent TDM.

Eustace | Granblue Fantasy
Canon: Granblue Fantasy; post Ramen Travels With Cassius and Avalon CRAU
About: Typical stoic, aloof, silent elite agent soldier lone wolf type with the biggest soft spot for all things dog. His ideal is to live a life filled with peace and quiet, and so he fights to protect not only his peace but others as well. Eustace can be a bit rough around the edges, but he's softened up and can be amiable with those he's grown to trust and care for. Often compared to as a "guard dog" he is fiercely loyal to those close to him. He is skilled with guns, short blades, and grenades with his favored weapon being Flamek, a special rifle that can unleash lightning.
For some other random tidbits, that hairstyle isn't just for looks—his right eye is sensitive to light. Normally it's not a problem, but when there are sudden bright flashes that he can't prepare for, he can be temporarily blinded on that side. He does have an eyepatch he can wear though it's only for certain combat situations. As an Erune, the dog-like ears on his head are very real, but he does not have a tail. Also as an Erune, the fashion choice of open sides and backs is the norm— He also loves dogs. Like. A lot. More detailed info can be found here!
He is engaged to Tifa and will be married in December. He also takes care of 12 dogs, a wolf, and a cat and you can read all about them here.
Abilities: As mentioned Eustace is an experienced fighter with his forte in all things gun. He's an ace marksman and can even dual wield, be it two guns at once or a gun and dagger. He also knows how to handle grenades and is familiar with most weapons. Technically he has other skills, but what is video games and how do buffs and debuffs work. I need to really work on adapting some of his support skills with dreamotion energy...use that electricity to increase crit chance and vigor idk—
When in dreams, I like to have his attacks end up matching the theme of the dream if possible. So for example he's able to create his gun and replicate most of its normal attacks, but sometimes it fires something completely different. Like candy. Or flowers. He has developed some minor healing utilizing a mix of ice and lightning, which are the two predominant elements that he's used so far. Wind is next on his list to continue the whole storm theme. He has been working on understanding animals and he's got a good understanding for most canines with more general understanding on other animals (except bugs, he ignores them).
PLANS
General: First off, he and Tifa have announced their wedding, so there's that! I do have an open log planned as well to post sometime this week that will cover some dream board stuff. Eustace will also have his bachelor camp party that'll be open to any of his CR (just pretend a doggo snuck in an invite) and that log will go up...sometime soon I think lmfao kjklaj. He'll also be part of Futaba's excursion for the power crystals as well as another expedition with 76... ... ... He'll just be very busy...this month...haha.....
Dream Board: The tasks I'll be writing up or I could tag into others!
Event: I'm already dying so no top levels crying. I think most of my focus for the hot pot/hot springs post will be with Rokurou, but I'll try and see if I can tag Eustace into anything since he would be checking the place out
destination honeymoon— I'd also be open for requests!CR Dreams: Give me everything you got. From anyone Eustace can be soft on to those he'll be guarded against to the ones who drive out his patience and make him want to walk off the moment they step into a room. Rivals would also be fun to keep some competition for him and though he might hate it, anyone willing to bother him, be it friendly nuisance to annoying pestering. He'll enjoy the company of those who are similarly quiet like him and dog lovers will definitely shoot up in favorability quickly. He's still gruff at times, but he's definitely softened to make things easier, so I'd like to have him form new bonds and relationships so he can continue to open up more.
As for what he can offer, he may not be the most "comforting" character type, but he can provide good support and loyalty to those he considers allies and friends. As he's on the older side, he's also good as an older mentor or "brother" figure, and he does have a soft spot for young kids while ready to clock anyone being stupid. He's also a good partner for any missions or combat oriented scenarios.

Rokurou Rangetsu | Tales of Berseria
Canon: Tales of Berseria; post-canon
About: Rokurou is a very laidback daemon with a rather "positive" attitude in the sense that he doesn't sweat the small stuff too much and just rolls with most things. As a war daemon, fighting is pretty much his life and what he enjoys most, with the sword being his
one true lovebelovedfavored weapon. He excels in dual short swords but isn't too shabby with the greatsword, either, and in fact now dual wields those, too. Like I said, sword nut. He follows the role of the "samurai" fairly well, living up to those codes and his family name. Can be super loyal and supportive, will repay any debt he owes, will look out for the younger crowd, and just overall a nice and fun guy to be around, especially at a bar. Loves that alcohol. He can also be a little bit of a fun jokester and a troll. But hidden beneath that nice guy exterior is a dark ball of rage that only surfaces when he's really into his fight. He doesn't like being interrupted. Period. A lot of that rage comes from his hatred for his older brother, but a lot of that has been resolved. He's otherwise pretty chill. (Except around his brother—there is no chill.)One important thing to note is his daemon eye, with the black markings running down his neck. Normally only certain people can see it, but since this is a dreamworld anyone will be able to see it with those who are supernaturally inclined able to tell right away he's not human. In addition to this, Rokurou has something called malevolence, which is basically a dark, negative type of energy that can corrupt things and turn them daemon. It still exists in Songerein, but he keeps it contained inside himself so no one should be affected unless something causes him to lose it. You can read more about it here. Abilities: Rokurou is a strong swordsman capable of dual wielding both shortswords and greatswords. He's based off the samurai, so his weapons are Japanese styled, the shortswords more like wakizashis or tantos, and the greatswords more like odachis. He excels with the shortswords and has trained hard in wielding one greatsword, but from his canon point he's starting to learn to dualwield the greatswords so that's something he'll be working on in Songerein. Being from a Tales franchise, he has elemental artes, or skills, and these will be expanded on with dreamotion energy to increase his arsenal of attacks. He is definitely going to learn how to create swords so he can summon and use as many as he can at will, lmao.
PLANS
General: Since he just returned to Song he'll be mostly getting his bearings, probably finding the old treehouse he and Eizen used to have before leaving and see if it's vacant (spoilers it is) and then find the two giant beetles still there (cry). IT'S LOG MATERIAL BUT I'll save it for next month instead. Maybe. Eustace is killing me crying. I do also plan on throwing Rokurou at the Futaba expedition, too, so there's that at least! Not listing the Dream Board, but am open to anything if anyone is interested!
Event: I have a toplevel here with...a lot of prompts for the hot pot and the a couple for the hot springs lmfao.
CR Dreams: Everyboooooddy~ Rokurou loves a good fight, so sparring partners, rivals, enemies, he'll be happy with them all. Drinking partners are also a plus. He's a very chill and easy to get along with kind of guy, so there's plenty of CR opportunities for anyone, really. As for what he can bring to the table, he's definitely a good "big bro" kind of guy. He is also very loyal to those he's sworn alliance to, so if there's any problems, he's got your back. MY ONE REQUEST for any fight threads is if we could maybe sometimes discuss how it goes and then montage it a bit after the initial start. I only ask because he's going to have so many fight threads I'll get burned out lmao crying.
