ACTIVITY CHECK: MARCH 2023

It's time for the monthly Activity Check!

We had a lot of prompts from the March Madness log and the Dream Board that we need feedback from, so here's the list! Players who participated should include a brief blurb in the Extra Note section. Completed threads are NOT required; feel free to note anything ongoing or even handwaved.

• Murdered Wisps. For those who signed up for the murdered wisp task, please give us the resolutions (planned or completed). You can comment to the original sign up or include the information in the AC note.
  
• Lucky Rabbits. Indicate if your character caught any and how many.
  
• Dreamcatcher. Note any instance or attempt to purify, instances where nightmares were involved, and any nightmare blobs encountered and defeated (or failed).
  
• Slenderman. Any encounters and what happened (were they able to fend it off, rescue people, get trapped, etc.)
  
• Crystal. Any fragments returned to the crystal; any encounters with the crystal creatures.

Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:

• Only threads dated from March 1st through March 31st will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
  
  
• You must provide 2 threads of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character. This means it must be some combination of 5+5. Not 6+4 or 2+8.
  
  
• Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
  
  
• Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
  
  
• Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) were not used for the previous month.
  
  
• Test Drive threads will count, however we have a one TDM thread limit. Because our TDM is bimonthly, only the February TDM will count for this AC. You cannot use the same thread from the previous AC.
  
  
• You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
  
  
• As a reminder to those who received a special free AC pass back in December 2022. If you plan to use it, unless there is an extreme personal emergency, we will not allow a hiatus exemption before or after the month of using the pass. This is so we don't get a weird case of { Hiatus > Free Pass } or { Free Pass > Hiatus } or { Hiatus > Free Pass > Hiatus } scenarios as that would effectively allow a player to skip two to three ACs in a row and we do not want that.

• Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.

There will be no warnings. All submissions are due Friday, March 31st 11:59PM US Central.

BONUS INQUIRIES

This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.

You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

Extra Note: UH LET'S SEE wow he did a lot here is the personal stuff:
- helped give Trahearne his therapy lesson
- made a call to suggest offering dreamotion lessons of sorts. Since an organized group is looking doubtful, he'll probably consider offering private lessons every now and then...maybe.
- redid/reorganized for the permanent residence quest (still open for sign-ups!!). I also made a discord server to help organize everything
- helped Tifa to open her Starflower Sanctuary cafe

For the requested thread stuff:
- caught ONE white rabbit with Lyria
- helped put in a piece for the crystal with Ira
- helped get rid of some nightmare blobs at the dreamcatcher with Beatrix and Sheikh
- took care of a murder wisp with Tifa (Sheila is sending in the details)
