Who wants another NOCTAERE PLOT?
So, the time is finally upon us. In what I'm sure will be a tremendous shock to a great many people, Azula is going to become a Noctaere.
In addition to her usual diet of severe emotional repression and extreme denial, Azula has been diving into nightmare Dreamotion with both feet for months now, meaning she's positively saturated in nightmare energy. That's coming to a head in July- specifically on the evening of July 21st, thanks to a personal trigger incident.
The biggest effect for most of Reverein will be a storm with thunder and lightning but no rain that lasts for the duration of Azula's transformation, meaning probably lots of fires starting. (The mods will be posting about that.)
However, the Noctaere event itself will have two parts.
1: The giant monster part.
Azula's Noctaere transformation will turn her into a giant blue phoenix. She won't be terrorizing the village or anything, she's actually going to try and avoid people, but she will attack anybody who gets too close, tries to interfere, or otherwise makes her having-a-crisis brain perceive you as a threat- for a varying value of 'being perceived as a threat,' she is paranoid and deeply unstable.
If you want a thread with Giant Angry Bird Azula, you can sign up. (We can either discuss a game plan in advance, or just wing it, fnar fnar.) This isn't limited to current CR! Azula will remember the people she fought, so if you're dying to introduce yourself to her, this is... Well, it's an interesting way, but it's totally viable.
2: The dreamscape part.
Major CR will be able to enter Azula's subconscious/dreaming mind and try to talk her down as well. I'll only have a small number of these threads limited to close CR. If you're interested in one, feel free to ask about it in PM.
Regardless of the outcome, Azula will be talked down/defeated either the night of the 22nd or the morning of the 23rd, after which the storms will dissipate.
