This is Ryu from Breath of Fire IV! He's a dragon. Which is also a god, called an Endless. He was summoned but it messed up, so he showed up hundreds of years later than his other half, the God-Emperor Fou-Lu. Unlike him, Ryu has mostly been treated well by people (or at least the party) and so has ended up a happy(ish) person who is willing to jump in and help anyone!
He's a protagonist, through and through.
He's come from a... difficult time. He also has zero formal education so prepare for misspellings and misunderstandings. He's doing his best, okay.

I'm playing Kazuya Minegishi from Devil Survivor! He's coming in on the heels of being in a demon infested lockdown in Tokyo for 8 Days, becoming the king of all demon kind, and is now in a war against God to free humanity from his false "free will" to ensure that something like the lockdown him and his friends endured never happens again.
He's also the biblical reincarnation of Abel, but he will be very unhappy if he's called by that name, Naoya. He'll also just be pretending to be a regular person, and not the King of Demons that he is, but anyone with any sort of supernatural sense can absolutely call him out on it, even if he'll deny it and play stupid. There's nothing he wants more than to just be a regular human, but you can't have shit in an SMT game as a protagonist.

But he's still a 15 year old who can command the elements, really.
On the one hand, he's going to be thrilled to be far away from places where he's required to intervene in conflicts - but there's a lot to miss about that world, too, so there's a lot of room for him to grow! Hi all! I'm Christine, and I'm bringing in Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII Remake. I was in Songerein previously from it's opening until about last March with Kainé and Dohalim il Qaras, but real life necessitated me stepping away from RP for awhile. I'm thrilled to have made it back in time for the second anniversary! Feels good to be home.
Aerith is coming in from the end of Remake as the party leaves Midgar, so life beyond the city is still incredibly foreign to her, but she won't be able to help but be enchanted by the idea of a world made up of dreams. She's a 22 year old florist who just so happens to be the last known member of an ancient race of tree-huggers, with a big bad corporation constantly monitoring her everyday life back home, so life in Reverein will be a nice reprieve in addition to offering her new opportunities. She'll be able to experience a freedom she's never really known while here, in addition to being reunited with old friends and having the chance to make new ones, and I'm excited to get her out there! She's open, friendly and playful, but also a complete menace to society at times.

Despite the icons, he's going to be coming in from the original timeline after the event of the main game/Advent Children (I just like the pretty/variety). He may seem like the typical trust fund rich asshole heir to his father's horrible company which, honestly, he mostly was until things literally blew up in his face and he had to realize that his father and the company had done terrible things and he really needed to clean up that mess.
He's still a bit of a manipulative asshole but has mellowed out a bit over the years and is trying to make better life decisions.

I'm bringing with me Sandalphon of the Granblue Fantasy fame. He's one of those funny serious grump types, and also kinda what happens when you create an angel guy in a lab so he gets 2000yrs worth of existential self-worth problems. (Dw, he got better.)
So angels exist in the context of Granblue lore with many other varying mythological/fantasy beings, all known as Primal Beasts. Sandals in particular inherited the role of a leader among them from the original "Supreme Primarch" Lucifer - though currently it's less leading, and more about enabling primals and people to hopefully all live laugh love together. He's just as likely to make you a good cup of coffee as to join in on a fight for the good of the planet, so fun balance!
I have honestly been out of the game scene for a few years so forgive me a bit for the rust and my own re-adjustment but I'm super excited to be here and looking forward to lots of different shenanigans with everyone. She's a friendly and outgoing highschool girl...who is also a super powerful esper that secretly (though it's not a super big secret) works for the government...at least until recently when she ran off to become a criminal. There's a lot of trauma and baggage but she's actually pretty well-adjusted as far as these things go.
She'll tease and gently bully people but is really kind and says affirming but embarrassing things to people and anyone who talks to her for more than five minutes is probably now her friend and she will kick someone's ass on their behalf if it should become necessary.

Jude here, bringing in Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica! She's a magical girl who is genuinely happy when she's helping others, but tends to have low self confidence in just about everything else... Madoka Magica tends to be one of the darker magical girl series, but she's coming from a happier timeline (before things inevitably go wrong...). She's polite and tends to want to befriend those around her, but she isn't a push over or anything, either. Considering that she's coming from a point in the anime where she's already become a magical girl, she'll be a bit more confident and enthusiastic in general.
