About: Cranky-ass man who's doing his best to try to kill God because he's literally Cain. A genius programmer, has an encyclopedic knowledge of his world, can and will kick someone's ass himself. But he loves Japanese snack food and dresses weird (he wears geta) and wants to learn anything and everything in this world that might lead to breaking his curse.
Abilities: He can do some canon spells (shields and/or big explosions) and he can summon demons who can do similar. Dreamotion might be tricky for him to get a handle on so he might have to bite the bullet and actually ask for help - he's prone to nightmares which... is not good for anyone.
PLANS General: Do you know about curses? Naoya wants to talk to you! He is at this point trying to fish for people interested in breaking his curse or at least giving him information that he doesn't know. Dream Board: He might help with the giant pumpkins as he knows multiple recipes for those. The kemonomimi also is interesting because I have seen some art of Naoya with wolf ears and a tail and it's cute as fuck. Or maybe cat ears. We'll see. Event: May or may not toplevel, depends on energy levels. But Naoya getting sick might be funny because he's grumpy and fussy.
CR Dreams: ... Yes. Naoya needs morality pets as well as people he can mercilessly tease. Also anyone that Kazuya befriends... Naoya may pop up just to keep an eye on you. He needs more Old Person friends too so he can shake his fist at the young whippersnappers, etc.
Character: Ryu | amnesiadragon Canon: Breath of Fire IV - end of Chapter II
About: Ryu is a dragon/Endless/god who has only appeared three or so months ago and has had a lot of people around him who have been helping him with his problems and he with theirs. He cares about humanity deeply (and they come in all sorts of furry-adjacent types where he's from) and always wants to help. He's a little afraid of himself right now, as he unlocked a form he can't control - so he'll be avoiding that as much as possible. Still, he's eager to help and eager to talk to people. Sorry about his typos.
Abilities: He's got a few spells - most notably a combo that decreases fire resistance and then... sets someone/something on fire. He can also transform into a half-dragon state. He only goes full dragon in his most powerful attacks which he can't use very often. He also has an eye that lets him tame animals easier as well as sense other dragons/Endless/powerful godlike creatures around him.
PLANS General: He's going to be looking for more smart person friends so he can learn things like how to read better. (Note that 'smart' is... very relative for him.) Also he'll help anyone! He loves all of you. :) Dream Board: He might go after the catfish because he does not care if he's running around naked but other people seem to. So that could be fun. Event: Ryu can definitely help out with the leaf monsters because he's got fire! But the other promts don't really call to him that much... I might stick to tagging out.
CR Dreams: Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it fits with Ryu so well. ;; But also just... friends in general? People who can show him different sides of humanity. Preferably positive, though if someone wants to try to take advantage of him let me know and we might be able to work something out...
Oh man, Ryu! Breath of Fire is one of my all time favorite series, so I'm excited to see someone playing him! Yato here is also a god who loves humans, so maybe they can strike up a friendship? Yato's smartness varies on a sliding scale so he could teach Ryu some things (probably including some bad habits) in a big brother/mentor sort of way?
It was my first JRPG! (That I played on my own at least.) Ryu can detect other gods (with player permission obviously) so he will straight-up ask Yato if he's an Endless. Please teach him all the good and also bad things, he needs more mentors.
Ryu's free to feel out Yato's ~godly aura~ since he doesn't try to suppress it or anything. And he'll teach him important skills, like finger guns and how to hit on the ladies! Things that'll be sure to come in handy when he's dealing with mortals.
lskdjfs oh god Ryu is clueless about that kind of thing (see: why do girls get upset if you accidentally hit their boobs? he sure doesn't know) so this can only lead to Good Things.
Time for some adult education for Ryu! Hopefully he won't pick up any of Yato's weirder habits, like stealing borrowing a lady friend's school uniform to wear...
About: Chai is a loser and knows it. He's a slacker who takes a while to warm up to people normally, but he's got a big imagination and bigger dreams. He's friendly but a bit tactless, and he's a good guy despite being an idiot. He's here to rock and roll! ... He's just more used to fighting robots than other kinds of monsters.
Abilities: "Musical robot powers", aka he sees everything to the beat. His arm also has a magnetic section to it, and he can zip around using that. He can also make a guitar out of (metal) trash, and do tricks like surf on it into his enemies. He's kind of a one man wrecking crew.
That said I'd like to develop his dreamotion powers here, letting him manifest things. Maybe even manifest his music outside of himself? That'd be neat.
PLANS General: Chai's just getting settled in, so he's trying to get used to how things run around here. He's going to have to find a way to get food, so maybe he'll stop by Alistor's Thanksgiving? Dream Board: ... Want to give Chai kitty ears... he claims he's not a cat person but plays with the team's robot cat a lot. Event: For all the things Chai can do fire isn't really one of them so he might need some help with fighting those off. I will probably toplevel with him.
CR Dreams: Found family found family found family his own isn't like... bad? But if you're friends with him, you're family. He will absolutely need to stick to someone smart so that he can get by.
