Welcome to Songerein's Plot With Me Meme! It's an abbreviated version of the CR Meme where the main focus is figuring what you want to do for the month, such as listing out which quests you're interested, any personal plots you have in mind, and initial thoughts on the event. It's similar to a CR Meme, with just a little different focus on the form. You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond!

Hello!! Me too--I love their teacher-student dynamic.

And thanks for letting me know re: spoilers! I'll be sure to keep away from anything story related until you're all caught up. That said, what did you have in mind regarding interactions between them? :>

Thank you. It's a bit of a slow process but I am getting there.

As for what we could do, that is a good question. Is there a quest that caught your eye? He'll also be a sleepwalker in the event.

Sure!

For the dream board, the archery prompt would be interesting (tho it may lead to spoilers, depending on where you’re at in 16!). If you want to play it safe, the nekomata prompt would also be a lot of fun!

Otherwise, Joshua is also going to be a sleepwalker for the event. In his case, he’s going to take on a role where he’ll need rescuing. Depending on the idea you have for Ira, that could also be something to look into!

I lean towards the Nekomata prompt, if only because I'm still fairly early on in FFXVI? (I'm at the part where Clive, Jill and Cid are on their way to the Mother Crystal, and then, you know, sidequests happen because Clive is just such a nice guy who has to help everyone). That might be the way to go.

Since they will be both sleepwalkers though, it might be a chance to help each other out, or stage their own rescue.

Good to know! Thank you (also I hear you on the side quests 😭).

I plan on topleveling for the event, so what I can do is include the nekomata prompt along with the sleepwalking prompt. Since Joshua will be (literally) sleeping through most of his sleepwalking story, I plan on making the prompt more of a guided choose-your-own adventure. If that’s something that will fit with Ira’s sleepwalking role, then we can go with that! Otherwise, we’ll have the dream board to fall back on!
