ACTIVITY CHECK: MARCH 2024

It's time for the monthly Activity Check!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Activity for March will be half, meaning one thread with five comments. All other AC rules still apply.

In the Extra Notes section, please note if your character has done any of the following:

• Ventured mirrorside
  
• Dealt with the Unknown
  
• Experienced any interesting reflections of places

Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:

• Only threads dated from March 1st through March 31st will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
  
  
• You must provide one thread of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character. This means it must be some combination of 5+5. Not 6+4 or 2+8.
  
  
• Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
  
  
• Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
  
  
• Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) were not used for the previous month.
  
  
• You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
  
  
• As a reminder to those who received a special free AC pass back in December 2022. If you plan to use it, unless there is an extreme personal emergency, we will not allow a hiatus exemption before or after the month of using the pass. This is so we don't get a weird case of { Hiatus > Free Pass } or { Free Pass > Hiatus } or { Hiatus > Free Pass > Hiatus } scenarios as that would effectively allow a player to skip two to three ACs in a row and we do not want that.

• Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.

There will be no warnings. All submissions are due Sunday, March 31st 11:59PM US Central.

BONUS INQUIRIES

This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.

You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

Extra Note: The interesting reflections were of home, not sure if that counts? Unknown inly is dealing with new ground in a version of his father that actually seems to *care* which is so weird to him these days. He keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Extra Note: Just reflections of home, though for present day she did see her Master and Grubel using the Ba Ra Gin (A machine for seeing other worlds and other realities) before the connection cut. She was very shocked.

Extra Note: Accidentally wandered into two different Dreamboard things without knowing about the Dreamboard. Helping Hermes with his raincloud, and in another thread he found the koi fish without knowing to look for them. Both threads ongoing. I am hoping someone will explain the Dreamboard in the Koi thread. Not sure if it counts for him to get the reward though.

For the unknown, long philosophical conversations about the right of things to exist, and what elements are, with both Hermes and Gabriel, but most of those are in backtagged logs from previous months. Not sure if that counts for what you need to know about the unknown for.
