ACTIVITY CHECK: MARCH 2024 It's time for the monthly Activity Check!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Activity for March will be half, meaning one thread with five comments. All other AC rules still apply.

In the Extra Notes section, please note if your character has done any of the following:

Ventured mirrorside
Dealt with the Unknown
Experienced any interesting reflections of places

Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:

Only threads dated from March 1st through March 31st will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
You must provide one thread of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character. This means it must be some combination of 5+5. Not 6+4 or 2+8.
Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) were not used for the previous month.
You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
As a reminder to those who received a special free AC pass back in December 2022. If you plan to use it, unless there is an extreme personal emergency, we will not allow a hiatus exemption before or after the month of using the pass. This is so we don't get a weird case of { Hiatus > Free Pass } or { Free Pass > Hiatus } or { Hiatus > Free Pass > Hiatus } scenarios as that would effectively allow a player to skip two to three ACs in a row and we do not want that.

Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.

There will be no warnings. All submissions are due Sunday, March 31st 11:59PM US Central.

BONUS INQUIRIES This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.

You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

On the first day of the month, those who enter the Wild Harvest may notice a large banner hanging from the rafters; a few streamers attached to it along with sparkling bubbles to bring further attention to it(which Reaper obviously picked out himself).

Spring is in the air, and it is no different within the Wild Harvest itself; more blooms decorate the various vines wrapped around support beams and rafters, their colors vivid and showing just how much life the pub-style restaurant truly holds. The crescent berries hanging low from some of these vines glowing brighter and larger, looking plump with juice and ready to pick. Soft pink petals drift and scatter across floor and tables thanks to the various number of cherry blossom cats and kittens play about. Those who come up to the bar may find a curiously long red-furred and golden-eyed <a href="https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:oqsvtica2qve2rjfsmfqgkab/bafkreiel4zalcj23vyfzbhqwsmv7dt5ystzh2thalq62ygojymrcme2xku@jpeg">cat</a> perched near the register— fluffy and very friendly, smelling of sweet hibiscus.

There is the new addition of a cherry blossom <a href="https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:oqsvtica2qve2rjfsmfqgkab/bafkreifqd76g7skbrnvdheukxvw2aa2fuj6yeumkmtfd2zl2nzpa4morem@jpeg">shiba inu</a> that greets some customers at the door, or can be found snoozing in the sun of the greenhouse garden. Venture out further into the garden where the lotus flower koi fish make a small waterfall fed pond their home and <a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GJiNUE1bIAAmDMI.jpg">two new and rather long finned koi</a> can now be found, causing cherry blossoms to float up to the pond's surface.

Watch your step in the greenhouse garden, a <a href="https://64.media.tumblr.com/8e7ba90486c34d2d5e4fcbcd406b3b0a/1496a42368ed7a49-49/s2048x3072/3a622623898535b31285bb630cb6e8c64d9e2266.png">few smaller guests</a> can be found picnicking there as well.

This month's Specials are:

<a href="https://i0.wp.com/tokyotreatblog.wpcomstaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/tokyotreat_somen-thumbnail.jpg">Noodle Slide</a>- Bundles of chilled Nagashi Somen are provided to guests along with a sweet and savory soy sauce and dashi broth to dip them in. This broth can be added to with sesame, wasabi paste, shredded seaweed, chopped green onions, and grated ginger to taste. Comes with a side of freshly pickled vegetables.

For those up for a little fun, there is an actual noodle slide set-up in the garden for guests to take their bundles of noodles and see how they fair at catching the flowing noodles.

<a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GIl0tohXgAAl3FT.jpg">Steak Quesadillas</a>- Marinated steak fire grilled and chopped up are what fills these cheesy quesadillas, along with some chopped up bell peppers that have been grill kissed for that extra bit of smoke-flavor and color. A white queso marries it all together, sealed up with a bit of time on the griddle on both sides of the tortilla bundle.

Also comes in chicken or shrimp.

<a href="https://www.cookingclassy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/carrot_cake_cupcakes2edit..jpg">Carrot Cake Cupcakes</a>- Frosted with a vanilla flavored cream cheese frosting, these cupcakes bring a warm and comforting flavor from the various notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger that goes so very well together. Sweet and spicy, the cupcakes are dense and pleasantly moist with chopped and toasted pecans to add something a little extra to your bite.

These cute pig shaped cookies a delight to look at and to eat, having a pleasant snap to them while otherwise soft enough to easily bite. Chocolate, dark brown sugar, some fresh grated ginger delight the taste buds- and a mug of milk can be ordered right alongside a plate.

Chilled and garnished with a twist of lime to help balance out the sweetness with a touch of tart.</TEXTAREA</a>
