ACTIVITY CHECK: APRIL 2024

It's time for the monthly Activity Check!

Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:

• Only threads dated from April 1st through April 30th will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
  
  
• You must provide one thread of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character.
  
  
• Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
  
  
• Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
  
  
• Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) were not used for the previous month.
  
  
• You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
  
  
• As a reminder to those who received a special free AC pass back in December 2022. If you plan to use it, unless there is an extreme personal emergency, we will not allow a hiatus exemption before or after the month of using the pass. This is so we don't get a weird case of { Hiatus > Free Pass } or { Free Pass > Hiatus } or { Hiatus > Free Pass > Hiatus } scenarios as that would effectively allow a player to skip two to three ACs in a row and we do not want that.

• Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.

There will be no warnings. All submissions are due Sunday, April 30th 11:59PM US Central.

BONUS INQUIRIES

This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.

You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

Extra Note: Wild Harvest Special's Menu for May!
<a href="https://steadypulse.dreamwidth.org/4615.html ">The Wild Harvest</a> serves various western and eastern style earth-based street food dishes. A special's menu is rotated every month. The Wild Harvest inside and out is still in full bloom, and the garden is flush with some early berries and vegetables- along with a whole bunch of herbs. There is a sign near some of these reading <i>Take a basket, pick what you want. Come inside to return the basket, please!</i> There appears to be a <a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FjJieqbaEAEvWge.jpg">small but fierce "guard"</a> to help those having trouble deciding where to start- and remind to return those baskets. Some fallen petals are still being swept up, unless the flower and fairy cats/kittens get to them first for a bit of play. Even the Garnish and Spice noodle 'dragons' are getting swept up into the fun, along with a few of the gardens' snakes. While those ordering tea may find themselves with <a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FZz9FFGUIAALS82.jpg">small but curious company</a> that may want a little taste. The <b>Specials Menu</b> for <i><b>May</b></i> is; <a href="https://www.thecookingcollective.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Vegetable-Spring-Rolls-2-1.jpg">Vegetarian Spring Rolls</a> - Freshly made spring rolls filled with red cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, mushrooms, green onions, and thin rice noodles. Comes with a dipping sauce that is a blend of soy sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic with some chili peppers for a nice kick at the end on the side. <a href="https://www.simplysissom.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Healthy-Burrito-Bowls-With-Cilantro-Lime-Dressing-FI-1.jpg">Burrito Bowl</a> - All freshly prepared, these bowls of food comes with your choice of freshly grilled meats(beef, chicken, pork) or a specially seasoned rice. Choice of toppings include beans, fajita veggies, and pico de gallo. All of it brought together with guacamole, salsa verde, queso, sour cream and/or cheese. <a href="https://recipecontent.fooby.ch/17429_3-2_1440-960.jpg">Poke Bowl</a> - A raw fish dish, only the freshest of caught tuna is used. Cubed pieces of fish tossed in a mix of lemon juice and a mix of soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar with a bit of honey to be served cold. Served in a bowl with seasoned rice and veggies, and more sauce on the side. <a href="https://allshecooks.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/float-lemon-lime-drink.jpg">Lemon Lime Soda Float</a> - Fizzy and bubbly lemon lime soda brings a refreshing tanginess that balances well with the sweetness of ice cream that will help cool you down on any hot day. Either take it with creamy vanilla, or personalize with your choice of ice cream flavor. All made in-house. <a href="https://www.thechunkychef.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Frozen-Peach-Bellini-recipe-card.jpg">Bellini</a> - Bubbly, refreshing, and delicious. This mixed cocktail is sweet and peachy with a sparkle that makes it quite the accompaniment to any brunch, or light meal at a later time of day. <a href="https://preppykitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Lemon-bars-1x1-2.jpg">Lemon Squares</a> - Bright and zingy, these lemon squares come with a thin and crisp shortbread crust and a delectably luscious lemon curd filling.
