Joshua went on an excursion with Eustace and Clive to get rid of a large noctaere that's been causing problems for Orkili (thread ongoing). Some planned incidents include:
A potential connection between the noctaere and the tunnel that "called" Joshua during his first excursion in the crystal caves with Ryu (they're even worse now).
Joshua absorbing some of the noctaere/its nostilium because of course (but thankfully not as much as it could've been thanks to Eustace's flowers)
He's very sorry, Tifa
Joshua and Kazuya have entered a not-contract where Joshua 'feeds' him some of his negative energy, which will help keep Kazuya's energy up while also lightening Joshua's nostilium load. There's no way this will end poorly.
