I don't really know off hand any flowers that work, but you could Google flowers that bloom in winter/January and then look up their meanings if you see any you like. I love A to Z Flowers because they a page where you can browse by meanings and symbolism. Gardening Channel has a straight up list if you want something you can skim quickly (although it has no pictures).
Or you could play fast and loose with the whole dream world concept and come up with some winter-blooming variants of flowers you like. I spend a lot of time trolling around Pinterest and pinning neat flowers. I can always toss flowers into the thread ICly as we go along for Zelda to point out.
