Welcome to Songerein's CR Meme! A place where players can dump info on their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. We have a handy dandy form so go forth, tell us about yourself and your characters, and start plotting! You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond! Continuing or using things from the recent TDM. Nightmares are abound this month and we have the mini event ahead, so definitely make any mention of those if you have something in mind.

About: Magical boy antihero turned antagonist with a complicated relationship with his evil guardian and no more fucks to give. Basically thinks he's going to be dead within a month past his canonpoint. Because of that, he has a strong desire to make the most of the time he has in Songerein, and wants the best for most people. Occasionally prone to grey morality and mischief in part thanks to his previous stint as a Fae in Aefenglom. Don't mind the weird cracks on his face.

Abilities: His magical boy abilities give him the standard powerup, as well as copying and charming abilities, which you can read more about here! He has not attempted dreamotion so far due to his expectations that nothing good would come from harnessing what amounts to mostly nightmares. This will bite him in the ass in the near future.
Dreamwalker Form: It varies depending on the dream! Unfortunately for him, sometimes this includes his Fae form, where he has glittering white and red moth wings and looks way too pointy, basically. He has also been avoiding dreamwalking for this reason.

Plans: The above biting-in-the-ass, of course. I'm mostly looking forward to him deepening relationships with people despite his mess of a background, because he's decided he deserves some nice friendships before he kicks it, damn it. Other vague plans include slipping into his "Rogue" (think trickster) persona at some point, and eventually getting into dreamotion stuff to use it for like, healing. Diving into his time in Aefenglom would be fun too! (He has... a lot of trauma from the place.)

Right now I have an open dream for him here, featuring his canonpoint! It's a fun time.

CR Dreams: Ferran is very adaptable! He will attempt to make friends (or at least have conversations) with crochety grumps, cheery heroes, and even obvious villains, because it's not like he's got anything to lose by trying. But it's also definitely an option to get negative CR with him, because he can hold a grudge, sometimes over legitimate things and sometimes over stupid garbage. He also hates Fae with a burning passion so that's something to potentially touch upon. What he does not like is physical fighting, unless there is an explicit purpose for it, though, so people are unlikely to see him out in the forest beating up monsters or anything.

As a note, anybody with soul-sensing abilities and the like will definitely note that something is seriously off about Ferran, which you can read more about here!

Canon: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, postgame.

About: Stone-faced prosecutor with a ridiculous wine habit, a gothic flair, and a bit of hidden a hero-worship problem. Just a tiny problem. Despite his constant furrowed brow, he's open to new experiences and making new acquaintances, even if he may struggle to use the f-word sincerely. On a path to self-improvement and dealing with the ramifications of recent truths plus ten years of self-imposed emotional isolation. He's fine though.

Abilities: He's very good with a sword, and can pull wine and glasses out from nowhere. ... okay, also, he's learning to harness ice and shadow-related powers, slowly but surely. Under extreme duress, he can summon a scythe-wielding specter that he can't quite control, but hey, it gets the job done...?
Dreamwalker Form: This definitely depends on the dream, but I plan to have some based on the supernatural influences of his design: werewolves, vampires, and grim reaper-types. For the most part he'll probably just be himself, but we shall see!

Plans: He will be working on a winery with Diluc rather than trying to pursue his regular expertise because apparently there's no courts here to prosecutor for SO...... yeah. Otherwise, I have a couple of dream ideas for him where he'll have to confront the fact that he is, in fact, not okay, but mostly I'm just looking forward to him getting involved in people's messes and deepening some CR. He can handle your dang adventures. Come at him!!!

I have a small open thing with him exploring Madhuri's dream of Thavnair here, and I also plan to either put up some manner of open thing or tag out on the firebird quests.

CR Dreams: Van Zieks may seem like a grump... and he can be a grump. However, he can also be ridiculous because that's required for an ace attorney character, and he will be unapologetic and act like his glass-breaking, leg-slamming, vampire-metaphor shenanigans are totally normal when it's definitely not. He keeps bats in and around his house.

As far as what I'm looking for... man I don't know. I'm running out of brain juice. I like both positive and negative CR. Hit me up ok.

Etc.: Have a cat. He may or may not appear as Nyan Zieks in another dreamscape. We'll see.

Madhuri Qalli | Final Fantasy XIV

About: Madhuri is a little bit of a goblin but a figure of good intentions. She dotes, she cooks, but she enjoys pressing the buttons of others when the situation calls for it, so stubborn and stoic types beware. Otherwise she is an adventurer at heart and seeks a bit of a scrap just for the opportunity to blow some steam- sometimes it's hard to be nice.

Abilities: She's a level 90 White Mage, Warrior and Dancer. So if you need support, a tank or a healer she's your girl. While dreamwalking, she's more of a magical girl kinda, now that I think about it, haha...

See, what I've got going for her is that if she sings an appropriate tune, she can "change" into some sort of outfit that will suit the situation and act accordingly. Thus far she's changed into some of the primals from home (Garuda for wind spells and flight, Shiva for sword and shield and ice magic, etc), and I'm playing with the concept of changing into more of them in the future.

Dreamwalker Form: Like the above, she changes into 'costumes' of the primal whose song she's recited, and wields some form of their abilities for a time.

Plans: ADVENTURE!! Take her with you when there's a scrap to be had or if you just need some kind of a cheerleader. She's up for it. Also, if she learns your character isn't eating all that well or is a very tragic garbage cook, she can offer lessons or make you meals to heat up through the week and enjoy.

But for THIS MONTH she wants to scream in joy at Santa but also figure out why the moon is missing and somehow find it. Gods. It's so weird. Please give the moon back.

CR Dreams: Cooking lesson classes! Sparring partners! Exploration parties into the Wildlands! Pairing the rest of you jerks up because if you think she's a terror during Christmas just wait until Valentine's Day-

About: Susato is a nice and approachable gal, but she has lived a sheltered, bookworm life and is still learning her way about the world. She's spent her childhood deep in law books, and she is really sharp for her age, but the fact that she is only 16 will show at times. She is slowly getting more experience though, spending time outdoors and all that! She is proudly Yujin Mikotoba's daughter and Kazuma Asogi's adoptive little sister, and her app is here.

Abilities: She has some skill in the martial arts, and has been training her fire powers since arriving in Reverein. Just basic stuff for now, mostly involving shooting fire balls at things, and also she's made a knife of fire before--but I'd like her eventually to develop the power further. I'd like to work her way up to a temporary flamethrower of sorts, or the ability to summon a fire snake, maybe eventually a dragon.

Dreamwalker Form: None yet! I've had her change outfits in a dream though. :) She took on her male persona "Ryutaro" for a dream set in the Persona 5 world.

Plans: Currently she's happy working at Asogi's garden pub and helping him alongside all his other staff. I'm still working on getting her out there, meeting more people, and learning more about how varied the different worlds are around them--in general, just stuff that would get her confidence up more, 'cause girl needs it!

CR Dreams: Susato is great at support and raising people up, but I find that she also needs the same thing in return, so anyone who could offer that would be welcome, but she's perfectly happy just supporting her friends and family. People who would eventually be willing to open up to her and make her feel not useless, generally speaking.

I'd love for her to get into sticky situations at times--she's not necessarily used to being a fighter, but the idea of her fighting side by side with someone and protecting them, and them her, is great.

About: Tenn is a theater nerd who somehow became an idol and now travels around Japan performing in musicals. He enjoys his profession and is very strict on himself, but due to his upbringing as a caregiver is often gentle with those he meets. He has a sharp mind and enjoys supporting others and challenging himself in new endeavors. Most of his time in Songerein has been spent learning magic, exploring the familiar fairytale elements, and surmounting to the best of his ability all the (often silly and exasperating) trials thrown in his way! At least he has a sense of humor to help him manage.

Abilities: Tenn channels most of his dreamotion into his voice, often manipulating things through nursery rhymes. In addition, he’s gained some handle of fire and water elements through the dreamshifts. His main goal is to attain healing magic.
Dreamwalker Form: Still customizing it to whatever dreamscape he ends up in. In the future, I'd love to give him angel wings for one round! With how much physical activity he does, I think he’d be great at flying and enjoy it.

Plans:

• In the interest of protecting the town, he's most concerned with developing defenses against the Erasers and Noctaere. His research at the apothecary was stalled through Dec, but he's returning to it this month.
  
• Meanwhile, Tenn has become a regular at the Cabaret Rêves Célestes. Right now, he's just singing solo to light musical accompaniment, mainly performing classic carols to spread holiday cheer. He’ll continue to entertain there outside of his research to keep spirits up and practice his dreamotion skills.
  
• Will be joining the event and might also do a top-level, so poke me if you want something in particular?

CR Dreams:
Introverted child needs friends! He bonds best when working alongside others towards shared goals.

• If your character is seeking to combat Erasers and treat the Noctaere effects, he will want to trade notes!
  
• For other studious types, Tenn is a great collaborator. (Of course, if your character is used to thinking with their fists instead, he can grab them by the scruff obligingly talk some sense to them.)
  
• Looking for an older brother who will firmly tell you not to eat too much candy then look the other way when you actually do get candy (from him?) May I offer you a Tenn?
  
• And he won’t admit it, but he could use friends, too! People who are reliable that he can trust are especially important to him. Or teens around his age who can help him chill!
  
• Tenn has some self-defense skills, can wield his current weapon well, and is getting a good handle of setting things on fire, but he knows he’s under-leveled. Support during investigations and explorations is appreciated! Speaking of which…
  
• Somebody help him learn healing magic? It’s very important to him. For reasons. Not related to this month’s nightmares, I’m sure. (Also, more clerics in the party = always a win.)

Etc.: I say he wants to become a healer/cleric class, but like... intense cleric.

About: Somnus is a 2k+ year old Founder King of Lucis that has since been kept from death by having his soul locked in a magical-plot-Ring-purgatory. If asked, all he cares about ~returning the Light to their Star~ + fulfilling tHe PrOpHeCy + freeing his brother from his curse. He's the type of guy who only does what^{(he believes)} is necessary^{(as far as he's cognitively aware anyway)}. He's a very severe man.

Permissions/Opt-Out: Here!

Abilities: He's got nifty FFXV powers like warpstriking and magical hammerspace access (the latter of which he'll have to relearn how to use because dream energy), and he's very proficient in swords and spears. Canonically, somnus' fighting style survived as another legacy after his death, influencing Lucis' Kingsglaive's methods of combat. As for dreamwlking abilities, he's still learning the ropes, but he's getting the hang of it that emotions = important.

Dreamwalker Form: Somnus' normal form is a (scaled down) 10' giant suit of armor, but his soul looks more human like this. For now, Somnus is staying more in the suit-of-armor form, whether dreamwalking or not.

Plans: I'm not planning on making any dream logs for him, specifically, but I will def am totally interested in throwing him into other's!

CR Dreams:

Positive/Neutral CR: If your character is extremely patient or a foil to grumpy grump types like him, this could work. He can be pretty standoffish and unpleasant though, and I acknowledge that he's p difficult to get/maintain CR with. BUT I AM HERE TO MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN!!! Also any others who are dead or royalty or other knight-types he'd prolly make for interesting CR too.
Negative CR: As mentioned above, Somnus can be a little hard to interact with, and he also exhibits big NPC energy, where he doesn't have a lot of say/speak. He definitely can be rude or seemingly uncaring. Call him out !!!  
Romance: I'm always down for shipping if it comes to it lol. but also /gestures at him
Dream Board: come at me brah for any of them!
Mentoring/sparring partner: If your character needs an old ghost king that's cryptic in how he speaks to guide your character, he can do that. Somnus can double as a sparring buddy too!
Hunting buddies: this is a long shot but Somnus enjoys falconry and hunting... imma get him a falcon somehow, someway... please join him in taking care of birbs
Jan-specific: he'll be interested in tracking down the eggs of the fire owl and/or fighting the snoyotes. as for the no moon thing, he'll be all ?? is that usual for a dream world. it's a dream world. he doesn't know. someone educate him. anyway, he'll be down for fighting noctaere and chatting with the snow nymphs.

About: Yes, this cunning little brat happens to be the great nephew of Cruella De Vil herself! He once tried to capture the descendants of the original 101 dalmatians for her, but after a few traumatic incidents, the horrible realization that making fur coats involves murder, and nearly getting killed with the dogs... He's not too keen on working with her anymore. Which is a shame, since he's a lonely rich kid who would really appreciate having a real family to belong to.

Oh, and did we mention he acts like a dog sometimes? Long story.

Abilities: Canonly, the only special ability he has is the ability to speak to dogs. Don't ask him how that happened, but it might have something to do with that dog thing...

Which, combined with Dreamotion, will actually turn him into a dog! Either partially or fully, depending on if he's in a dream or having his abilities boosted. In terms of abilities he actually wants, he'll be looking into developing escape artist powers, scrappy trap making, or maybe utilizing some dog abilities without going full dog brained.
Dreamwalker Form: Right now, Hunter looks like Hunter but his hair's trimmed like he had it before... Except for when the dog instincts act up. Then he'll turn into a dog. Pics are on his profile.

Plans: Rich City kid is currently trying to get used to fantasy Dreamland, which means January's nonsense is gonna whack him in the face. Luckily, Hunter's experience with wrangling dogs could be useful for wrangling snoyotes and eggs. What he lacks in combat skills he can make up for in sneaky booby traps and the like. Of course, not having his usual gadgets may put him at a disadvantage...

In the meantime, Hunter may find himself running errands for Madame Blackbird from time to time (that don't involve fur). He's also be looking for a hairdresser asap, because the long floofy hair is not his style.

CR Dreams: Please give poor Hunter some friends. And decent adults. Maybe adopt him in the future, though he won't feel comfortable asking right now.

Etc.: The one time I pick up a Disney character, and he's from a short-lived cartoon hardly anyone's heard of. Go figure.

Ira | Kingdom Hearts

About: Serious man who takes things seriously is just trying his best.
In all seriousness though, Ira was the leader of a group of Keyblade Masters called The Foretellers way in the past of KH canon. Although he wasn't the best leader and a jump to a conclusion eventually resulted in the Keyblade War. Whoops. He's been brought for reasons and we're sort of waiting for what those reasons are.

Ira is a very serious person who had a lot of responsibility placed on his shoulders and didn't really live up to it. He feels a lot of guilt about that considering what it led to and is trying to make up for it while also ignoring some of the deeper feelings. It's not a good time and while he seems okay on the surface, it might be clear from his dreams that he is Not Okay.

Abilities: As a Keyblade Master Ira is very strong, wields a keyblade, and has a strong control over magic (mostly elements and a few status effects). He's working on his dreamotion abilities, which are allowing him greater and more unique control over his magic, and that's about where I've gotten in the cool stuff I want him to do plan.
Dreamwalker Form: Not really much of one, but I'm gonna turn him into a Unicorn eventually.

Plans: The long term goal is to have Ira confront a lot of his conflicting feelings over the Keyblade War, what led to it and the collapse of the relationships with his friends.

In the short term, basically just meeting more people who will be able to help with the long term goal, or just friends in general. And maybe getting this KH timeline sorted out to the best of our ability.

CR Dreams: Ira needs more friends! More people who can stop him from being so serious and getting caught up in himself. Please drag him on ridiculous shenanigans and get him in trouble. He needs it. He needs a hug.
I'd also love for Ira to have a mentor or someone who is willing to guide him. His last mentor was questionable at best (the Master of Masters) and he really needs an adult who can help guide him.

I can offer a patient man who is eager to help the next generation learn the skills they need, a dependable partner for quests and other missions, and someone who is pretty easy to tease.

Etc.: Ira has an open log for the month Here, where he has found a training arena in ruins and is trying to clean them up, took a break for fishing, and is dealing with his nightmares by ignoring them.

Iraaaaaa!

Ok realtalk having Ira and Roxas chat is like, weirdly wholesome and I love it a lot. I wanna keep having these two chat, because Roxas is suspicious but also super curious as to who this weird masked master is. Also please continue to destroy Xigbar's cred, Roxas will appreciate it.

Also I need to throw Toge at him again! They were pretty fun to bounce off of each other and I wouldn't mind more of them if you're up for it!

Canon: Onmyoji, post Celestial Realm arc

About: Former hero of the Celestial Realm, current lord of Hell after he threw all that away as a middle finger to fate and to save his boyfriend "intimate friend" Taishakuten, after said friend betrayed him and became a tyrant all so Asura would rise up to kill him and become the beloved hero who overthrew the "evil king". He did this by punching God and rewriting history to match his fix-fic where he became the evil "Lord Mara", and Taishakuten instead became the hero-king who defeated him, all so everyone would love him as much as Asura loves him. It's a very long, extremely gay story.

Abilities:
Canon powers include being able to set things on fire by snapping his fingers, Roy Mustang-style, and also making up to six extremely sharp murder-tentacles come out of his back that are quite capable of reducing a person to a fine red mist in seconds.
As far as Dreamotion, he hasn't experimented with it all that much, but what little he has messed with has mostly manifested as lotus flowers due to Taishakuten's heart in his chest. Again... long, gay story.
Dreamwalker Form: Most of the time he looks the same unless he makes a conscious effort to change. Asura has more experience than most with dreamwalking thanks to it being a prevalent thing in his canon that he has a few centuries-worth of practice with.

Plans: Largely playing it by ear for the time being. Asura is pretty happy with his dream life right now since he's living a disgustingly sweet domestic life with his lover friend lover in a little farmhouse out in the farmlands

CR Dreams: Kids he can Dad at, military or ex-military he can swap war stories with, people who like to garden or fish, nobles he can side-eye, people who can tell he has someone else's heart inside him.... I'm pretty open to new CR dynamics~

Toge Inumaki || Jujutsu Kaisen

Canon: Jujutsu Kaisen, during the Shibuya Incident Arc (Chapter 100)

About: Toge is a jujutsu sorcerer, a special type of exorcist who uses the power of Cursed Energy to nullify and exorcise Cursed Spirits. He possesses a special Cursed Technique inherited from his clan called Cursed Speech, wherein he can infuse his voice with Cursed Energy and force another person to comply to any order he gives. Because of his powerful ability, he limits his speech to protect both himself and others from his ability. He comes across as calm, distant, aloof, and even intimidating at times, especially due to the fact he cannot speak normally unless he writes/types out his words. But for those who learn to understand him, they will find a thoughtful, curious, and even witty personality underneath his withdrawn outer self.

Abilities: As mentioned above, Toge has his Cursed Speech, which is an ability that can force the listener to obey his commands; if he says things like "don't move", "sleep", or "blast away", the target will be unable to move, will fall asleep, or will be blasted away by a sharp force. The strength of the compulsion is dependent on Toge's own strength and the strength of the individual he uses it on, and if used for too long or against a strong opponent it can create a strong backlash that results in bodily injury in Toge (such as fatigue, losing his voice, and even having his throat begin to violently bleed). He's used his Cursed Speech here and there where he can, but in the dreamverses his ability isn't as strong as it is normally. I do have a permissions page for those who are either interested or not wanting to experience his Cursed Speech ability.

As for his Dreamotion abilities, I'm starting to have Toge utilize his Dreamotion magic the same way he does his Cursed Speech; namely, he'll say something like "calm down" or "cold" or "feel happy" or something, and he'll instil positive emotions/recall pleasant memories with his voice, rather than using Cursed Energy to force commands. It's still something he's working on so he's not a big expert on it, and he's still a little hesitant going outside his safewords, but it's a work in progress for sure!

Dreamwalker Form: As of right now nothing specific, just sort of making up a form dependent on the dreamverse he's in.

Plans: Toge's been starting to open up more to others, and I'd like to continue developing that! The boy's lived a bit of a sheltered life (since even among jujutsu sorcerer's it's a little hard for him to make friends per se), so having him go out and meet new people and even learn things he can use to develop his dreamotion abilities is definitely good. Also, he's gonna be helping out a bit at the communal garden, and also be working on his own personal garden closer to home, so if anyone wants to meet him there or whatever he'll be happy to say hi!

About: 76 is an enhanced super soldier, turned golden-boy-head of an international government funded peace keeping organization, turned bitter and jaded vigilante.

He's a rough and gruff old man these days, seeking out the truth and his new personal kind of justice. He's a very hands on type of guy from Indiana who was raised on a farm and basically forced to be the Golden Boy American Dream for a majority of his life. Thins got turned upside-down after a life of pressure and personal sacrifices and basically he is going one man army on his hunt for those responsible.

Sometimes you gotta break a few eggs, and beat some gang member's head with a smoldering piñata.

Abilities: Man has enhanced strength, speed, agility, senses, endurance, stamina- Super Soldier Shit, basically. Under his belt is also military training to go with that, along with a natural charisma he buries and the fact he will run head-on in to danger at the drop of a hat even still. More about this is of course in his app.

For now I'm going with a shadow based and also electrical based dreamotion type deal, the first leaning a little on to something he had in Forgotten Tales. Things will be added on, little extra pieces as he learns and grows with it(like having shadow armor and gauntlets, the ice cold sensation, and weird little shadow portal that don't always work right). There will be some smaller emotional based things, but those are going to be two things I focus on more when it comes to equipping him with something to fight with.

Recently figured out how to conjure wolves from a mix of light and shadow dreamotion, they're pretty neat.

Dreamwalker Form: Partially a callback to Forgotten Tales, it's more on the wolfy side of things. Old war dog and all that.

Plans: Currently working at the Wild Harvest as a cook, an helping out farmers given the fact he was raised on a farm. He's keeping up to the usual business of late night patrols in town, being a little feral, and keeping an eye on his pieces of CR he doe have some attachment to despite never really saying too much on it. There are a few plans just going along in the background, and I'm up to adding any fun ideas with others to things.

76 is also involved in looking out for both Erasers and Noctaere, and as only a few characters ICly know dealing with some Noctaere corruption since Day 1 of the game. Hiding it a little too well.

Currently he's involved in a small player plot that's going to result in some plant-life body horror after a close call. This heavily involves the Glowing Dawn flowers found within a cave deep in the Wildlands that he and Kazuma discovered. This is also going to cause the Noctaere corruption to go a little wild. Shit happens when you're secretive and only just starting to open up to a very few people.

CR Dreams: I would honestly enjoy pulling this man right out of his comfort zone and get him people he can be friendly with; easy mode is of course military folks. People he can get comfortable around and eventually give an actual name and maybe go maskless around in more proof of that comfort whether he realizes it or not.

He's also pretty good at training those who are less inclined to fighting. Wanna learn to toss someone twice your size over your back? Grumpy old man can be one of those guys.

About: Princess of the fantasy kingdom of Hyrule. She grew up with the knowledge that she had to awaken her dormant magic powers to protect her kingdom from destruction, but she failed and everyone died. She's an aspiring scientist who especially likes technology and botany, and all she really wants to do is explore and research. She's also very outdoorsy. On the negative side, Zelda is riddled with anxiety and self doubt from years of trying to awaken her magic and save the world.

Abilities: Zelda's canon abilities come from her divine heritage; she's a descendent of a goddess who became a mortal. Zelda has mostly got some vague Light-spec'd magic, chiefly the sealing power she uses to seal the big-bad into a gross cocoon until Link can come and kill him 100 years later. Zelda doesn't have access to any of her canon powers in Song, but she thinks about them a lot.

Zelda has two flavors of dreamotion powers: Light/Holy-spec'd stuff and Malice, a substance that basically looks like raspberry jam and acts like a living goo monster. When Zelda is in a good mindset, in her lane, vibing, she can do the Light magic. Theoretically. She hasn't successfully used it. When she's stressed out, anxious, upset, what have you, her dreamotion manifests as Malice. She kinda has control over the Malice sometimes, but not always.
Dreamwalker Form: I like to dress up Zelda in various outfits depending on the situation. If she's in an unpleasant state of mind or stressed when she comes into the dream, she often appears wearing her ruined ritual clothes, which is what she was wearing when everyone died.

Plans: Short-term plans:
-More Wildlands exploration and research: Zelda has started taking trips to the Wildlands to research the plants and animals that live there. She doesn't go very far on her own, but she prefers to go with an escort.
-Songerein plant cultivation: Zelda got a bunch of plants for Satan and is looking to grow and nurture (and later study) them. She wants to put them in a greenhouse while it's still winter.
-Anti-Noctaere research: Zelda reached out to Jude about his anti-Noctaere quest last month and she's going to continue to be pursuing this. We're still threading this but she's probably going to try to make medicines or something.
-Dreamotion training: She's still trying to practice with this shit. she's doing her best q.q

Long-term plans:
-Dreams: Zelda has started having a series of dreams based on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, an AU of BotW. As these dreams progress, she will start to regain some memories from her childhood about a small companion that she built with her late mother. I'm aiming for Zelda to ultimately trade regain baubles for Guardian parts and rebuild it in Song.

CR Dreams: I have a few ideas but tbh surprise me

About: Tifa is what you could easily call the "Mom Friend". She's a kind, empathetic soul who is always wanting to help and do the right thing, but don't let that fool you, she can kick ass too! She's much more reserved than she leads on, doesn't like talking about herself, and she doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve, even if she may look it.

Internally, Tifa deals with a lot of grief, low self-confidence, and harbours guilt for what Avalanche is doing, but she hides it well. She's always trying to do the Right Thing, and will try to help anyone in need, regardless of who they are or where they come from. Recently, the gang has just left their fight against Shinra—the Big Bad Power Company that's sucking the mako life energy from the Planet—behind in Midgar to pursue Sephiroth.

Abilities: Tifa is a Typical Final Fantasy Party Member, specializing in hand-to-hand combat. She's come in equipped with a few materia as well, so if you need someone with fiery fists and a fiery summon, she's your gal! Her dreamotion energy usually manifests in fire as well, and being someone who isn't as in control of her emotions as she'd like people to believe, it can be a bit unpredictable at times, so she tries to avoid using it unless it's absolutely necessary.

Dreamwalker Form: Not really anything cool! She'll always be in her canon outfit from home, though.

Plans: I have an open post up for her this month, featuring an interactive childhood nightmare of when she tried to climb Mount Nibel. Also got a couple of other prompts from the dreamboard. I'd be open to wildcards as well! :)

My long-term plans are to (very) slowly have her face everything from her past and come to terms with it all. She had a rough go before the events of FF7, and I think it'll be important for Tifa to explore her feelings about it and maybe open up to others about what happened. Besides that, she's mostly just going with the flow, taking on jobs and helping out wherever she can, and also learning how to use other fighting styles for fun. I'd just really like to get her out there meeting more people, since that's when she thrives the most. I do have plans to update her Isle of Avalon CRAU at the end of the month, which will be a super fun time for her...

I've also considered having her start offering meditation/martial arts lessons to help with trying to better harness and control dreamotion energy, but if I decide to go that route, that will be a little later down the line, perhaps in March or April.

CR Dreams: Any and all! Negative, positive, in-between. I am game for all of it. I'd specifically like more fighters that she can learn other styles from, and wouldn't mind having her teach martial arts to anyone who would like to learn how to fight or defend themselves. Kaine is already teaching her how to use a sword, but she'd love to learn other things too!

About: Wiki 1, Wiki 2 Anya is a very fictionalized version of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, who managed to survive a family tragedy with amnesia and goes on a quest to find her identity with two guys and her dog, while avoiding being attacked by a vengeful Rasputin and his green minions. She can be snarky AF, but she is also kind, loyal, determined, and creative in her art and thinking skills.

It is also worth noting that Anya comes in from the end of Forgotten Tales where she was among the Aspects fighting off the Story Eater who arrived to Songerein when it tried to flee from them during the last battle.

Abilities: Besides singing, dancing, reading, sewing, drawing, painting, and sewing, Anya is mostly a normal lady outside of dreamshifts, though her time in Forgotten Takes has her gaining the ability to fight with a broom and feather duster in the 3rd Act of the Sugar Plum Beast campaign.

In the dreamshifts, she currently has ice magic (which she has since her arrival in Reverein) and she will gain light magic sometime around this month. She will eventually get glamouring, possibly limited weather control (mostly limited to snow, ice, hail, and blizzard), and incorporate elements from her Fate Grand Order counterpart, especially with a soft doll meant to represent Viy (a fairy from Slavic mythology). I will also include incorporating some of her existing abilities as attacks for her dreamwallking self.

Dreamwalker Form: Anya’s dreamwalker does get to be changed depending on the theme of the dreamshift, though eventually she will become into looking like an actual proper Grand Duchess that she is, with an appearance similar to her Fate Grand Order counterpart.

CR Dreams: Give her friends, parent figures, frenemies! Though she is currently not up for romance since she still has Dmitri on her mind. Also, Anya hasn’t been a sister in some time but she’s really great with kids, if your character wants a sister figure, she is your girl.

Plans: Right now, Anya is currently looking into the patterns of attacks on the Halloween and Christmas dreamshifts and she wonders if they are the byproducts of the Story Eater being present in the Realm of Dreams, so don’t be surprised if she mentions about the Story Eater, the Erasers, and the Realm of Stories to your character from time to time if they hadn’t been to said world before.

Besides from that, Anya is still working as a seamstress apprentice for Madame Blackbird. She will also be trying to learn more on how to use her dreamwalker abilities. Maybe regaining some of the stuff she had in Forgotten Tales, like her wooden nesting doll since she was Vasilisa the Beautiful in there and a reward for helping out in restoring Sugar Plum Beast.

About: Typical stoic, aloof, silent elite agent soldier lone wolf type with the biggest soft spot for all things dog. His ideal is to live a life filled with peace and quiet, and so he fights to protect not only his peace but others as well. Eustace can be a bit rough, but he's softened up and can be amiable with those he's grown to trust and care for. Often compared to as a "guard dog" he is fiercely loyal to those close to him. He is skilled with guns, short blades, and grenades with his favored weapon being Flamek, a special rifle that can unleash lightning.

For some other random tidbits, that hairstyle isn't just for looks—his right eye is sensitive to light. Normally it's not a problem, but when there are sudden bright flashes that he can't prepare for, he can be temporarily blinded on that side. He does have an eyepatch he can wear though it's only for certain combat situations. As an Erune, the dog-like ears on his head are very real, but he does not have a tail. Also as an Erune, the fashion choice of open sides and backs is the norm— More detailed info can be found here!

Abilities: As mentioned Eustace is an experienced fighter with his forte in all things gun. He's an ace marksman and can even dual wield, be it two guns at once or a gun and dagger. He also knows how to handle grenades and is familiar with most weapons. Technically he has other skills, but what is video games and how do buffs and debuffs work. I'll be adapting some of his support skills with dreamotion energy, but otherwise he might not do much more except to augment his current skills.

When in dreams, I like to have his attacks end up matching the theme of the dream if possible. So for example he's able to create his gun and replicate most of its normal attacks, but sometimes it fires something completely different. Like candy. Or flowers. More of his original game skills will be developed in dreams first as well, so the whole buff/debuff spells and enchantments will be something to develop. Ice and lightning are the main elements that he's used so far.

Dreamwalker Form: No real changes so he'll look like his usual self, but I am thinking about he may occasional appear as a silver gray wolf at first sometimes.

Plans: Slowly forming that dog harem ha ha ha. With the corgi tree about to hit the last part of its "quest line," I've been debating on whether he'll move to live there or not. There are also the flower dogs he's been helping to take care of, but they will still firmly be the "neighborhood" dogs. Otherwise no real big plans as he has a lot of personal things going on to deal with.

On the more immediate side, he has an open log with some general prompts and an interactive dream that goes into his childhood past...if filled with tragedy ah ha. In the future I'll give him a happier childhood dream.

CR Dreams: Give me everything you got. From anyone Eustace can be soft on to those he'll be guarded against to the ones who drive out his patience and make him want to walk off the moment they step into a room. Rivals would also be fun to keep some competition for him and though he might hate it, anyone willing to bother him, be it friendly nuisance to annoying pestering. He'll enjoy the company of those who are similarly quiet like him and dog lovers will definitely shoot up in favorability quickly. He's still gruff at time, but he's definitely softened to make things easier, so I'd like to have him form new bonds and relationships so he can continue to open up more.

As for what he can offer, he may not be the most "comforting" character type, but he can provide good support and loyalty to those he considers allies and friends. As he's on the older side, he's also good as an older mentor or "brother" figure, and he does have a soft spot for young kids while ready to clock anyone being stupid. He's also a good partner for any missions or combat oriented scenarios.

When not having to be a murder machine for some reason or another, they are actually a rather friendly bug! Just...also very quiet, and simplistic. Maybe a bit socially awkward. They never had conversations before. No nodding doesn't count.

Abilities: They can stab super well!! Or do whatever other things with a nail for that matter. Still have access to Soul magic and the void infused variations of it, but they're all connected to dreamotion now. Gradually will learn how to use more darkness and shadowy skills over time.

Also has been learning how to communicate through emotions. Still cannot form actual words yet, but they can somewhat convey at least the gist of what they're thinking just through feelings. It's at least something else than only using the journal. Works a bit better when dreamwalking.

Dreamwalker Form: Usually as themselves, but might sometimes appear as their shade form.

Plans:
- A dream log might be going up this month! ...Not a nightmare but, it's not a good dream either (I'm sorry). I've got a couple other planned for later too.

Abilities: He has no canon abilities aside from a fighting technique that was supposedly passed down in the family. I don't quite know yet what sort of abilities he'll develop later on, am open to suggestions!
Dreamwalker Form: Just his usual self, with at most a difference in the outfit he's wearing.

Plans:
- Firstly, he'll be working with Jude Mathis to set up a clinic. While Jude will be handling the more 'magical' kinds of healing techniques, Yujin's the oldskool medical expert who would hypothetically perform surgery if it's ever needed. (Eh, 76?)
- Secondly, this is more of a group thing so I'd like to hear some other opinions on this: Reverein doesn't have any law-enforcement people, nor even written laws. So I was wondering if it'd be cool if Yujin suggests setting up a sort of... council of representatives to establish these laws and then recruit fighter characters who would like to help enforce these laws if necessary. What do you think? Is that anything?

CR Dreams: He's very good with kids and canonically just kinda takes in any stray kids to come his way, so if he ends up adopting anyone that would be sweet! But also he can chill with adults since he has lots of life experience and can roll with the punches. He doesn't take offense too easily, which might be good for the more abbrasive/blunt characters.

Canon: Obey Me! - Lesson 41. At some point I will probably canon update him either to lesson 61 or lesson 80 depending on the release schedule.

About: Satan is a cat-obsessed demon who his brothers describe as "very difficult to read" while Satan disagrees with that assessment wholeheartedly. He is in a weird position being the fourth oldest of his brothers while also being physically the youngest. That's what happens when you exist as a consciousness inside the Avatar of Pride, who then got so mad he birthed a whole ass other living being (Satan) from his wrath.

Despite being a demon and the Avatar of Wrath, he's surprisingly good-natured. He's just as happy to talk about cats as he is culture, science and magic. He has a natural inclination to pursue knowledge because he doesn't want his brothers to disregard him he feels societies respect someone who is well-educated.

That being said, he doesn't lose his temper often but when he does, his anger is already environmentally destructive in canon so I'm sure everything will be just fine with dreamotion energy, mhmm. He is aware of that, though, and is really doing his best to keep his anger in check. Mostly because he'd like for his home not to explode or catch fire.

Abilities:
In canon, his abilities are very vague. He's very good at using magic and could probably do a lot of good with said magic if he weren't so busy trying to use it to curse, hex and torture Lucifer. By extension, he's also very good at potion crafting. He's been studying the various plants here and has been experimenting with them in different potion/poison/antidote use. A moment of silence for his brother Mammon who is often his test subject... usually unawares....
For dreamwalking, he has specifically been working on using memories and dreamotion energy to create holograms of... things. Mostly people, but of objects, too. It helps him understand how things are put together. He's been at it for a few months, but the holograms are far from perfect. He can do objects without too much trouble though.

Dreamwalker Form: Nothing special here! Usually it will either be his actual demon form or a fake angel form. He really hates the latter.

Plans: Right now he's just doing a lot of general research to learn what he can about the world. He's already pretty good at magic and enjoys using it. He'd be happy to share what he knows with anyone, especially if it will be useful in improving Reverein. Yeah, he's a bad demon.

CR Dreams: Open to any kind of CR! He is happy to gush over cats, talk about books, science, magic, etc. He's not an expert in anything other than magic (more like just ~advanced~ in magic) but he's always looking to improve himself. Just... don't mistake him for Lucifer. Don't do it.

About: A shrinking violet if there ever was one, Noel is an extremely meek girl lacking self-confidence and social skills, but on the flip side she's also very polite, sweet and friendly, always ready to help others in any way possible. She means well and tries her best, especially when it comes to protecting and taking care of her friends and family. It might be hard to believe given her personality, but she's also a trained solider and a highly-skilled fighter, though she genuinely prefers to resolve things without resorting to violence.

What she doesn't want you to know is that she's also secretly a man-made weapon of mass destruction with a deeply-rooted grudge against all mankind. Also, she's a God incarnate. Look, she has a lot of things going on and she didn't ask for any of it.

Abilities: Like mentioned above, Noel is a soldier well-versed in physical combat. On a more supernatual side of things, please refer to her app for details, but the tl;dr version is: can use a wide variety of spells, has magical guns and won't hesitate to use them, has an Avengers-level threat Final Form that she's keeping under wraps for the time being, and possesses a multitude of abilities related to her God status, from willing things into existence to accidentally reading people's memories to rewriting the entire reality (the latter obviously being nerfed for game purposes).

Also, she's a terrible cook, to the extent where it should count as a special power.

Dreamwalker Form: Nothing special yet, just herself! BUT WITH A TWIST COMING (see below)

Plans: With all the nightmares (and especially her own ones) around, Noel will eventually break down and revert to her Mu-12 persona, thus becoming a (mostly) emotionless killing machine with a lot of disdain towards humans and zero remorse (as well as questionable wardrobe choices). As such, I'm looking for:
a) people to get into fights with (she's a weapon, that's what she does),
b) people crazy enough to try and use said weapon for something (she may be willing to follow orders, though mostly for destroying things),
c) eventually, someone who would be willing to help her get her shit together and snap out of it (though that won't be until somewhere later down the line),
d) ... and anyone else who wants to live out a dream of a close encounter with a terminator lol

I don't have a specific date in mind yet, and I'm more than happy to accommodate to other people interested in this, so feel free to join me on this adventure!

CR Dreams: Generally speaking, if you're looking for a cute little sister type of character, she's your gal! Beneath that adorable klutz surface, she's the type to help out anyone and everyone and Do The Right Thing, so it's not difficult for her to get involved in other people's mess. However, she also takes people at face value, making her a little naive.

Given the plans above, however, this is the time if you'd like to angle for more negative CR ─ since she reverts to her terminator self, it will be easy to come to blows with her. She might be a bit less stab-happy towards non-humans, but at the end of the day, she's still a murderbot.

She is canonically a Nobody, which means that she's what happens when a person with a strong will loses their metaphysical heart and the rest of them just sort of keeps on going out of sheer stubbornness. Due to the fact that she was born with a unique ability to enter, adjust, and create new memories, she spent her entire canon life either being incentivized by a shady organization to rewrite the memories of her game's protagonist in order to manipulate him or, later on, trying to make up for the same by putting his memories back.

After that, this version of Naminé spent a few months in a horror game called Vestige. Therein she found herself kidnapped by yet another shady organization and forced to live out her days in a murderbox full of monsters and other threats. She came straight off of all that with a healthy dose of skepticism about this whole dreamworld business and a deep-seated need for a vacation. (And a stable home life.) Since then, she's gotten pretty used to this whole dreamworld business and has started to accept that it might not be a trick. (She's still pretty scared she'll get sent back to the murderbox when she wakes up, though.)


Abilities: Canonically, Naminé is a powerful witch who can change the memories of others to the point of rewriting their personalities or, in the other extreme, crushing their hearts to render them non-functional. These abilities are poorly defined and apparently also allow her to alter information within written journals and computer data, and to change the appearance of objects (and possibly herself.) Additionally, she's able to create dark corridors that function as portals from one place to another.

For Songerein, some of this has gotten changed around, so the portals are no longer available to her and the memory powers evidently effect dreams instead. Because her basic skillset involves manipulating both minds and objects around her already, she's got a talent for this whole dream magic thing and has been making good use of it lately as she becomes accustomed to employing it.

At this point, she's been able to relearn Cure, Fire and Blizzard in somewhat altered states. Thunder would be next on the list assuming we're going with first-tier magic, but beyond that I would also like her to start getting into more defensive spells like Barrier or Stop. She's made an attempt at the latter, but isn't ready for it yet.

Aside from those types of things, I'd also like to explore more in the direction of her inborn abilities to alter objects/her own appearance, which may involve some shapeshifting or illusions. She's already started down this path to some extent during December.

Dreamwalker Form: Naminé doesn't yet have a regular Dreamwalking form, but per her innate ability to adjust the appearance of things and KH's tendency to tweak costumes based on worlds, I'm going with her outfit/look being heavily influenced by whatever setting she's entering, rather than a standardized form.

Plans: This month Naminé might help out with the dreamboard stuff a little bit, specifically with the yarn. (Please let her pet the scary cat, I beg of you.)

Long-term, Naminé has been informed about some of what happens in KH3 and is now in the process of figuring out how to deal with that/what that means for her. As a result she'll probably be more willing to explore social relationships and or new opportunities as she settles into the idea of being a Real Person.

Additionally, she's just now reached a point where circumstances forced her to stop taking as much of a back seat in combat situations. She's been practicing for quite a while, and now she's finally had cause to enter the fray a couple of times; from here on out she'll hopefully be doing more of the actual fighting herself, although there'll probably still be plenty of situations in which she'll be in need of assistance.

Longer long-term, I've had some ideas floating around for a very spooky Noctaere form of hers that would probably involve twisting people's memories and/or pitting people against each other. This would be very much up to individual players to use as they see fit, and probably wouldn't be for some time, but it'd be nice to know if anyone's interested in doing that kind of thing in the future.

This might also be a good month for a nightmare for her, but that might be dependent on my always-dense schedule.

CR Dreams: Listen. I'm gonna level with you, here - Naminé needs friends. She has always needed friends, she will always need friends, there is just. So much loneliness in this one small teenager, you have no idea. Any kind of CR is welcome, positive or negative; she's in need of life experience in general.

That being said, I'd specifically like for her to meet some other people her own age, especially ones that have very different life experiences from her own. (Or similar ones, so that they can commiserate.)

On the opposite side of the spectrum, she's very much in need of relationships with older, guardian-type characters who can provide her some positive experience with adults, since nearly all of the ones she's met during her canon have attempted to either use her or snuff her out entirely - in some cases both. She's done a good job surviving on her own, but the poor thing could use some actual caring and advice from someone older who can help look after her and teach her a few things about being a person.

As for what she can provide to others, Naminé is a very kind and compassionate individual and can handle even more difficult or aggressive personalities because of her sheer caring and general lack of a temper. She's patient and invested enough in other people's troubles that she serves as good starting CR for characters that struggle to integrate fully into the setting or don't get along well with others. If they need a therapist, she's their girl, pretty much. For more stable characters, she also makes a good tiny friend to drag along on their adventures and just generally vent their troubles to, and if they're looking for someone to protect, she serves that purpose effectively as well.

Following some of her recent experiences, Naminé's developed something of an interest in music and dancing; she's not very experienced with either but will be curious about any musical types she comes across. Other artists are very welcome too, since she really needs more artist buddies to draw with.

She has also already begun the process of helping others learn to do more with Dreamotion energy, and will likely be prone to tutoring anyone she comes across who seems to be having trouble.

This CR is charming so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing it! Not sure yet if I'm top-leveling for the event, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for Naminé in the future.

Alastor is a demon from literal Hell. In life he was a radio broadcaster and serial killer with a penchant for cannibalism. He died and went to Hell, eliminating all of the old Overlords upon arrival. He himself then decided to just let others take the territory and do whatever entertained him...only after nine decades he's gotten pretty bored of Hell.

He likes to screw with people and takes delight in others' suffering. However, he has a warped moral compass that compels him to protect the weak. He's taken to traveling to various people's nightmares with the idea of being entertained. He'll step in when he thinks it's not being fun anymore.

Default Form

Alastor possesses a default demonic form of a man with cervine traits.

Bilingualism

Fluent in English and able to speak broken Creole.

Cooking

He was taught to cook by his mother and is incredibly good at it, specializing in classic New Orleans and creole food.

Flexibility

Can twist himself into unnatural positions without hurting his joints, even turning his head a full 180-degrees.

High Intelligence

Alastor is incredibly cunning, strategizing and thinking carefully before executing a plan. He became one of the most powerful Overlords in Hell via tricks and deal-making.

Demonic Magic

Able to cast spells. Currently limited only to those spells that anyone can cast in Reverein.

Shadow Manipulation

Able to summon shadows and have them do his bidding. Limited to only his personal shadow.

Shadow Teleportation

Alastor is able to teleport to his shadow's position. Limited to only when he can see his shadow.

Voodoo Magic

Knowledge of Louisiana Voodoo and rootwork. Spells are limited to what anyone can learn in Reverein that would potentially rely on rootwork.

Microphone Stand

Alastor is able to summon a microphone stand which he can use as both a microphone and a cane. It's an extension of himself and will periodically talk.

Photokinesis

Can project red light from his eyes and microphone.

Outfit Alteration

Can change outfits with the snap of his finger. Limited to only himself and he has to possess the clothing to begin with along with being close by. He can't just conjure clothes out of thin air.

Eldritch Control

Red floating symbols will sometimes float around him using his abilities. They don't do anything, just add to the spook factor.

Audio Projection

Alastor can project music and sound effects at will. Pretty much useless except for his own amusement.

Only usable when he's been turned into a noctaere.

Full Demon Form

Alastor transforms into a far stronger full demon form. This boosts his normal abilities and those he can use via dreamotion energy.

Eldritch Summoning

Noctaere Alastor can summon two black eldritch tentacles to fight alongside him once per battle.

Advanced Shadow Manipulation

Alastor is able to summon shadows other than his own to do his bidding.

Advanced Shadow Teleportation

Alastor doesn't need to see his shadow to teleport to its location as long as he's within a one hundred-foot radius of it.

Pyrokinesis

Can summon palm-sized balls of flame.

Alastor is able to control and broadcast over the radio waves. Locked due to there being no radios in Reverein.

Deal With The Devil

Alastor is able to make deals which are enforced by magic, including taking another's soul as payment. Locked because it's OP.

Reality Manipulation

Alastor can distort reality at will. Locked because it's OP.

Wilting Plants

Plants wilt at Alastor's touch. Locked because then he'd have nowhere to live in Reverein.

Portal Creation

Can create portals for others to travel through. Locked because it's OP.

Can summon others to his side and make objects appear at will. Locked because it's OP.

Dreamwalker Form: He mostly keeps his typical appearance when walking in dreams. Sometimes he might merge with his shadow.

Plans:

Alastor is slooooowly working his way towards becoming a guardian though he'd never admit to such a position. He likes hopping from nightmare to nightmare to witness all the fun forms of torment but if someone is weak, he'll step in due to his moral code. He can't be relied upon to save you but as time goes on and he starts to care more, he could at least be counted on to pull people out of jams.

Honestly, he needs more friends. Being the boogeyman of Hell means that he doesn't get much socializing in. Honestly, arguably one reason he bargains in souls is to collect people who won't leave him. He's used to having people flee before he can even finish saying "hello". Redemption is a big theme in Hazbin Hotel but it's doubtful that Charlie's more idealistic measures will really work for him. He's lonely but his social skills are hella rusty.

Sooner or later he's going to get into trouble. All these trips into nightmares are going to drive him to full noctaere form at some point, so he's definitely going to need people to snap him out of it.

CR Dreams: More friends for sure. Alastor picks favorites but he's a pretty amiable (if kinda terrifying) person all around. Once he's decided you're one of his favorites, he'll invade your personal space every opportunity he gets though he won't let you touch him unless it's on his terms.
