About: Once a member of the Lindblum Tantalus Troupe, Zidane's an actor/thief whose role of being a hero is quite by chance. Though he is your thief with a heart of gold and very willing to help anyone and everyone that needs it (even if they've scorned him in some way), he's not above kicking ass before asking questions either. His typical antics are playful and he wants everyone around him to have a good time even if he's not.

Plans: Though most of my plans last month dropped off, I'M GONNA TRY THIS MONTH HAAA! He'll help with the general crime problem (if only because that's not really helping anyone right now), road repair, and spider thread traps. As well, he'll try playing it off while being cupid himself, but hearing about Valentine's Day will make him susceptible to Bleeding Hearts. Even if they try warping his feelings, he's good at playing it off as nothing's wrong so good luck with that. I miiight put up another dream log either this month or next (likely next with Romeo and Juliet being a thing) that might be... off finally given the accumulation of things thus far.

About: Kor is a shounen protagonist: happy-go-lucky, friendly, inquisitive about the world and people around them, and way too meddlesome for his own good. He has a catchphrase: "Kor Meteor doesn't try, Kor Meteor does!", and by god does he ever live by it, giving his all to everything he does, seeing his promises through, and flinging himself headfirst into trouble at every opportunity.

He's kind-hearted, trusting to a fault, and very naive, but always quick to try and befriend others, whether they want to be or not. You will be his friend. That's not a threat, it's a promise.

Lastly, Kor's got the abilities of a Somatic, which means he's able to dive straight into a person's heart and help them out with their issues.

Plans: So first off, I definitely want to get Kor involved in the Bleeding Heart stuff, both in terms of helping someone get rid of theirs, but also getting affected by one himself. How ironic that a bleeding heart would fall victim to a Bleeding Heart, right?

Besides that, a couple quests. Cupid's Arrow might be fun, especially since he's not a good shot at all. Maybe he hits the person helping him, or even manages to hit himself somehow? Soup Cart would also be interesting, he's highly proficient at basic use of dreamotion and also pretty handy when he wants to be.

I'm also open to plotting out Spiria Links if you have something you'd like to explore with your character regarding their own inner issues!

About: Law's a hotheaded young man whose first course of action in most matters is "Can I Punch It?". He's got a huge chip on his shoulder due to things that happened in his past, but he's a kind-hearted and sensitive guy who wants to be a better person and stick by the people who matter to him. He doesn't want to be the kind of guy who abandons others to save his own skin, not ever again.

He's loud and impulsive and reckless and he's often likened to a dog due to his nature, but he's a true blue friend who's got the back of anybody who's got his. He loves to train and drag others into his crazy shenanigans. Very up front and out there with what he does.

Plans: honestly kind of debating maybe signing Law up for the event. He doesn't have a love of his own in Songe but it'd be fun to force him into a "play" and also embarrass the hell out of him when he tries to play his role.

Quest wise, I've got a few things in mind. Rock Candy Crystals, for one. He doesn't have a love, he might just want the candy for himself. He's got the heart of a five year old, okay. Spider Thread Traps is also of interest, he's a sucker for animals so he'd definitely want to help do something if innocent creatures are getting hurt here. Road Repair is also an option here. He still doesn't really get dreamotion at all but he's strong! Tell him what to do and he'll do it.

On a side note, he'd really love if someone helped him understand how to use dreamotion. He's got no talent for magic and he's not the sharpest tool in the shed so he struggles pretty hard with the concepts of it and would benefit pretty well from a good teacher.

About: A budding defense attorney who recently finished a harrowing study abroad in Great Britain. Before his life took a swift turn into the field of law, he was a literature student and overall a rather average sort with a few very specific skills. But he's good with words, speaking from the heart. His confidence has certainly grown, but it still has it's wavers. He's also keen to collect interesting (and often pointless) knickknacks.

Plans: I am somewhat interested in touching the story event but don't have any particular plans to go for the leads. That said if someone thinks it would be interesting or fun, I'm all for it.

Dreamboard quests I'm interested in touching include the request from the Witch's Brew Apothocary, Rocky Candy Crystals and Spider Thread Traps. I'd also like to get him involved in trying to help those who get hit by the Bleeding Hearts! He's not the most capable, but he's trying to put himself out there more, whether he fumbles through it or not-- and I'd love to have fellow interested people he can work with!

That said, even if it's not listed if you want a random guy who may be terrible at the job to drag along it would be funny and therefore I'm all for it.

About: She's a military general dedicated to concepts like honour, integrity, and justice, with some shady behaviour in her past. A bit cold on the outside, but underneath all of that, quite a bit kind of heart on the inside. (For more, feel free to read her application.)

Plans:
- Likely to be involved in helping innocent animals in Spider Thread Traps. She loves thinking her sword is capable of everything, so I suspect she'll just do the same thing here. Also animals. Beatrix does actually like animals.
- She isn't of the lovey, dovey affectionate sort, so whilst she wouldn't be affected by the Bleeding Hearts shenannigans, undoubtedly she knows people who would, so she'll probably consider lending a hand.
- Other than the above, I'm pretty open to ideas. Bea just needs more excuses to be a little more personable. (She is, however, working on it.)

Susato Mikotoba | Great Ace Attorney

About: Cheerful everyday girl who was raised as an assistant and craves to be helpful. Has knowledge of Japanese and English law. Likes to write, take lots of notes. Has been working at the Wild Harvest, so she's well versed in the kitchen and has some basic customer service skills. Can harness the power of fire, she's pretty new at it but she's practiced and has achieved some cool things. Has created flame; in dreamscapes she's made a fire knife and used it, formed fire gauntlets around her arms once, burned through metallic chains, can literally shoot fire bullets out of finger guns.

Plans: I would absolutely love to get Susato involved with the bleeding hearts! Mainly I'd love her to be able to save someone (or multiple someones) afflicted, but I wouldn't be opposed to having her afflicted as well. If she is though, I'd lean more towards playing out the exaggerated love side of things (rather than love -> hate), a yandere situation of sorts.

Another dreamboard thing I was considering is #206: Spider Thread Traps. Save the animals!!

No concrete plans for Lindromeo & Juliet, though she would make a good Juliet lmao so if someone wants to pair up, let me know...? Otherwise she'll just be a side character... (totally not opposed to the Romeo role either, she does have a male persona to work with.)

About: An eccentric yet passionate inventor who happens to be a former Aspect. and former jailbird but why bring that up now? His memory's not nearly as good as it once was, but he certainly has an interest in electricity and perpetual motion... To the point of not paying much attention to anything else sometimes. At least he's friendly enough.

Plans: Luca's gonna be feeling wistful this month. A few people he knew have woken up, and through he knows they're probably safe a few details are already fading from his mind...

But hey! He has his work to distract him. He'll be focusing on perfecting those generators of his so they'll be available ASAP! Which means you guys are gonna get some very awkward I-fell-asleep-at-my-worktable dreams to watch! Fun.

As for events... Uh... Luca will feel bad for telling Otto about the hatmaker, so when he realizes who the mastermind behind Noelle's rampage is he is gonna help bring the guy to justice. As for the dreamscape, I'm half-considering sticking Luca in Romeo's spot. He doesn't really think of love, so being paired with a Juliet... As a giant winged snake thing... FUN.

Plans: Ira will able to help with the Bleeding hearts. As a Keyblade Master, he does have the ability to enter people's hearts and get involved that way, or we could do something fun with dreamscapes.

Dream board wise, I'm open to the Road Repair quest, as well as any fetch quests.

I've kind of been giving Ira a bad time lately, so for now we're giving him a month off.

About: Typical stoic, aloof, silent elite agent soldier lone wolf type with the biggest soft spot for all things dog. His ideal is to live a life filled with peace and quiet, and so he fights to protect not only his peace but others as well. Eustace can be a bit rough, but he's softened up and can be amiable with those he's grown to trust and care for. Often compared to as a "guard dog" he is fiercely loyal to those close to him. He is skilled with guns, short blades, and grenades with his favored weapon being Flamek, a special rifle that can unleash lightning. His ears are very real (no he does not have tail).

Plans: Oh boy as if his "love life" isn't complicated enough— BUT LET'S SEE. I will have an open log posted for most of these but I'm also open to any unrelated CR stuff! I'll get to the more general stuff after the list:

• Board: Witch's Brew - He'll be interested in how the progress of the potion is going and will be able to help gather some ingredients (oh boy get to use the corgi sniffers!!)
  
• Board: Cupid's Arrow - He won't be participating and in fact will be side-eyeing the whole affair because really, however I will gladly offer him up to be a victim or the target of someone's brief affections.
  
• Board: Spider Thread Traps - A nuisance in the forests!? Time to take care of that— Open to shenanigans where someone is stuck or Eustace needing a bit of help. Dogs can be included~
  
• Board: Rocky Candy Crystals - MAYBE? I don't think I'll create a prompt, but someone could drag him to help if they so desire~ So probably a wildcard option

As for the Bleeding Hearts, I won't have him open for it as he'll have to deal with it on a more...personal level /cough however if someone needs someone to help snap them out... ...Honestly you probably could find someone better— Would knocking them out count— asks the mod

A more general idea I'm thinking of is Eustace working on building a training course for the corgis over by the tree. He's floated the idea to a couple of people, but that could be another thing for those interested in meeting the doggos. I'll probably write the network call out for assistance as part of the log prompt setup.

Ah, another thing I'd like to do is have Eustace train up his dreamotion abilities to learn some more defensive techniques, including healing. I might save a more interactive prompt for that later in March since /stares at list yeah.

About: Famous idol from Tokyo who was formerly a caregiver. Tends to come across as strict and professional, but just really loves his job and wants to take care of others.

Plans:

For Witch's Brew Quest details, I'm mostly handwaving my side of this, since Tenn standing over a cauldron and coordinating with his NPC coworkers isn't a terribly exciting thing to write (LOL) and the month is packed with events. But extra info for anyone curious:

• Characters who come to the apothecary will be given their own list of plants to collect.
  
• If your character isn't good with herb names, the staff can show them samples and imprint pictures of the plants into the journal to provide a visual guide!
  
• Finding the herbs in one’s own garden or foraging out in the woods is fine, however your character would go about it.
  
• However, list may specify that certain plants are native to Halloween Haven and must be found around there, due to the absence of sunlight and unique growing conditions.
  
• The dreamwalkers working at the Witch's Brew will be happy to educate newer arrivals on what inky pools look like and how to get rid of them. (In case your character missed the Halloween dreamshift.)

Besides that? When he's not at the shop, Tenn will be assisting at taking care of the Bleeding Hearts (he is an idol, after all - singing passionately to move people's hearts is his job!) Beyond that, probably no romantic things; Tenn is emotionally attached to his many fans back home, and the fans he's gaining here. He's very much an 'everybody's idol' kind of boy; healing and helping others this month is his Happy Valentine! ^^

About: Sora is a sunshiney protagonist with his heart on his sleeve. He's helpful, generous and sweet but can also be reckless and overly self-sacrificing when it comes to others. While he might not be the brightest crayon at times he's certainly always bright. He also happens to come from aefenglom previously so Sora is actually eighteen years old. Sora has three keyblades with him and all of his abilities from the third game! Currently, his dreamotion predominately comes out in the form of fireworks and sunflowers.

Plans:

🗝️ Sora helped Soldier 76 set up the communal firepit so he will be found there often!

🗝️ He also tends to the communal gardening area even if it is just keeping it neat in the colder months. Working on a possible greenhouse?

🗝️ Need a quest partner? Sora will happily help with building the Soup Cart! Or collecting crystals in the caverns for Rocky Candy Crystals.

🗝️ Sora will mainly be suffering from a Bleeding Heart creature entering his heart to feast on his loving and joyful nature. Sora's nature will be cranked up to ten as he requires the need to feed the Bleeding Heart inside of him!

🗝️ This means that Sora will be glowing red light and will be inclined to become love-obsessed. He will become obsessed with getting closer to the people he already knows or if a spark happens with new CR he will be inclined with getting to them. This is not necessarily romantic, he is just very caring and loving in general and that will be increased. Please note that Sora will be violent, jealous, obsessed and possessive in this form. he's essentially going yandere If you are not comfortable with this theme please don't tag in or we can work something else out!

Plans: Honestly I don't have any plans right now, and will most likely play wingman(though not necessarily the romantic kind) to other people's plans instead. Or where ever else people want them. Otherwise they're probably going to simply wander about.

- Probably will be around for Spider Thread Traps though because look they've had enough experience dealing with spider traps by now. And enough ptsd to go along with it.

About: Former hero of the Celestial Realm, current lord of Hell after he threw all that away as a middle finger to fate and to save his boyfriend "intimate friend" Taishakuten, after said friend betrayed him and became a tyrant all so Asura would rise up to kill him and become the beloved hero who overthrew the "evil king". He did this by punching God and rewriting history to match his fix-fic where he became the evil "Lord Mara", and Taishakuten instead became the hero-king who defeated him, all so everyone would love him as much as Asura loves him. It's a very long, extremely gay story.

Plans: Well, his lover and housemate "woke up" so he's going be coping with his loss for a bit (again). He'll remain pretty collected on the surface, if a bit more glum than usual since he'd already come to terms with the likelihood of this happening before Taishakuten had even left, but he'll still be quietly grieving. And by "quietly grieving" I mean he's going to intentionally go out into the wastelands to hunt down the biggest kaiju he can find to work out his grief God of War-style.

Other than that, he's going to be helping with the road repair and go all Batman on some petty criminals.

About: In general, expect Omi to be helpful, curious, bashful, expressive, and nice. Beneath that, he's a depressed and lonely kid with a propensity to mental breakdowns and a deep aversion to meaningful relationships. He's a fully brainwashed assassin, has 0 sense of self worth, and is easily manipulated. Beware, however, that he's also perfectly willing to lie to and manipulate others, and there is a dangerously clever and tenacious mind under that sweet disposition.

He's also the highly mortified "artist" behind the giant yarn ball impaled on the street post. Expect him to be very uncomfortable and awkward if this subject comes up.

Plans: January turned out to be a bad month for me to introduce a new character. I'd like to give Omi a better and more proper introduction this month. Some possibilities:

Cupid's Arrow might be funny since he's a highly skilled archer, but he might only do this under the well-intentioned delusion it'll help who he hits until he sees (and has to deal with) the aftermath. Any victims? Also good having him get hit with one himself.

Visiting the greenhouse.

Disabling the spider traps might be up his alley, too.

Same with vigilante work in regard to the increase in criminal activity.

Maybe the Romeo & Juliet thing? His canon is all about tragedy so it fits. If I did this one though, I'd prefer sticking him in the Juliet role.

I'm also totally down for general plotting with him! He's fresh meat still so anyone who wants to help him out with the dreamotion stuff, that'd probably be a big help hopefully he won't wreck any more roads LMAO

About: Short story: violent sourpuss puppeteered by mechanical tentacles. Longer story: Fallen scientist who suffered from an experiment gone wrong and ended up with mechanical limbs welded directly into his spine. Also he got voices in his head telling him to do bad stuff.

Plans: As mentioned in the mod post, he's been sending Noel (Mu) out to steal stuff so he can eventually try to rebuild his solar reactor. He doesn't even care whether Songerein needs this thing to produce energy, he just wants to prove his theory was sound. (It was not sound and if he ever does complete this thing, it will undoubtedly lead to a plot where people will have to stop it, but let's put a pin in that.) Hopefully sometime within the next week, a log will go up where those interested in stopping the little crime spree can meet up, corner Mu and return her to her Noel form, then continue onward to confront Otto.

Character: Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikoleavna ‘Anya’ Romanova of Russia

About: Wiki 1, Wiki 2 Anya is a very fictionalized version of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, who managed to survive a family tragedy with amnesia and goes on a quest to find her identity with two guys and her dog, while avoiding being attacked by a vengeful Rasputin and his green minions. She can be snarky AF, but she is also kind, loyal, determined, and creative in her art and thinking skills.

It is also worth noting that Anya comes in from the end of Forgotten Tales where she was among the Aspects fighting off the Story Eater who arrived to Songerein when it tried to flee from them during the last battle.

Besides singing, dancing, reading, sewing, drawing, painting, and sewing, Anya is mostly a normal lady outside of dreamshifts, though her time in Forgotten Tales has her gaining the ability to fight with a broom and feather duster in the 3rd Act of the Sugar Plum Beast campaign.

She currently has ice magic (which she has since her arrival in Reverein) and being able to calm anyone with her singing. Hopefully she will gain light magic real soon, probably by accident. She will eventually get glamouring, possibly limited weather control (mostly limited to snow, ice, hail, and blizzard), and incorporate elements from her Fate Grand Order counterpart, especially with a soft doll meant to represent Viy (a fairy from Slavic mythology). I will also include incorporating some of her existing abilities as attacks for her dreamwalking self.

Anya’s dreamwalker does get to be changed a lot depending on the theme of the dreamshift, though eventually she will become into looking like an actual proper Grand Duchess that she is, with an appearance similar to her Fate Grand Order counterpart.

Plans: Anya is going to be involved with the soup cart and Witch’s Brew Quests, working in Madame Blackbird’s shop, and running around doing errands. She is probably not going to be stuck with Romeo and Juliet even though she did suffer the loss of most of her family.

Also she will share some of the information she has gotten from Santa last month and confirm that, yes, the Story Eater is indeed behind all the troubles in the dreamshifts. She just wants to punch that Story Eater in the face right now.

About: 76 is an enhanced super soldier, turned golden-boy-head of an international government funded peace keeping organization, turned bitter and jaded vigilante.

He's a rough and gruff old man these days, seeking out the truth and his new personal kind of justice. He's a very hands on type of guy from Indiana who was raised on a farm and basically forced to be the Golden Boy American Dream for a majority of his life. Thins got turned upside-down after a life of pressure and personal sacrifices and basically he is going one man army on his hunt for those responsible.

Sometimes you gotta break a few eggs, and beat some gang member's head with a smoldering piñata.

Man has enhanced strength, speed, agility, senses, endurance, stamina- Super Soldier Shit, basically. Under his belt is also military training to go with that, along with a natural charisma he buries and the fact he will run head-on in to danger at the drop of a hat even still. I'm going with a shadow based and also electrical based dreamotion type deal, the first leaning a little on to something he had in Forgotten Tales. Things will be added on, little extra pieces as he learns and grows with it(like having shadow armor and gauntlets, the ice cold sensation, and weird little shadow portal that don't always work right). Recently figured out how to conjure wolves from a mix of light and shadow dreamotion, they're pretty neat.

Plans: I've got more info up on my plurk but basically-

I've got a mini-player plot going that started last month and is hitting it's more intense and final phase this month. With that, 76 is still basically out of commission this month. People who drop by The Wild Harvest have probably noticed his absence most of last month and it continuing in to this month.

That being said, this man is going to end up going Noctaere and so there'll be chances for people to encounter shadow fiend Noctaere that will be created from his own Noctaere-state/intense nightmare energy. I mention this incase people want to deal with those things ICly around early-mid-month-timey-wimey-vagueness-for-convenience things on top of everything else going on just for wild encounters to add flavor to something. They move in packs, are very aggressive, and will be even more dangerous in dark or shadowy areas.

About:
Alastor is a demon from literal Hell. In life he was a radio broadcaster and serial killer with a penchant for cannibalism. He died and went to Hell, eliminating all of the old Overlords upon arrival. He himself then decided to just let others take the territory and do whatever entertained him...only after nine decades he's gotten pretty bored of Hell.

He likes to screw with people and takes delight in others' suffering. However, he has a warped moral compass that compels him to protect the weak. He's taken to traveling to various people's nightmares with the idea of being entertained. He'll step in when he thinks it's not being fun anymore.

Plans:
Alastor is slooooowly working his way towards becoming a guardian though he'd never admit to such a position. He likes hopping from nightmare to nightmare to witness all the fun forms of torment but if someone is weak, he'll step in due to his moral code. He can't be relied upon to save you but as time goes on and he starts to care more, he could at least be counted on to pull people out of jams.

I also just started a series of dreams based on the official Alastor comic which allows a character to walk a proverbial mile in his shoes if you're interested in that sort of thing. Though mind the key content warning: This is Hell from the prospective of a cannibalistic serial killer. Not Nice Things can and will happen.

Honestly, he needs more friends. Being the boogeyman of Hell means that he doesn't get much socializing in. Arguably one reason he bargains in souls is to collect people who won't leave him. He's used to having people flee before he can even finish saying "hello". Redemption is a big theme in Hazbin Hotel but it's doubtful that Charlie's more idealistic measures will really work for him. He's lonely but his social skills are hella rusty.

Fair warning though: Alastor picks favorites but he's a pretty amiable (if kinda terrifying) person all around. Once he's decided you're one of his favorites, he'll invade your personal space every opportunity he gets though he won't let you touch him unless it's on his terms. So be prepared to be pulled in for random side-hugs, song-and-dance numbers, and other such nonsense.

Of course, sooner or later he's going to get into trouble. All these trips into nightmares are going to drive him to full noctaere form at some point, so he's definitely going to need people to snap him out of it.

Plans: I'm pretty light on ideas at the moment.

I don't have any plans for Zelda to be afflicted by a bleeding heart (though she has plenty of feelings that would attract one), but I'd be interested in her trying (and probably not entirely succeeding) to help someone afflicted, particularly if we have existing CR.

Zelda will definitely involve herself with the witch's brew apothecary quest. This is right up her alley. Let's do science together!!

Plans:

I'm interested in the Cupid's Arrows deal and can hit your characters or have your characters nip her with one for comedic effect. She will be especially terrible for the holiday as it is One Of Her Favorites. Also the 14th is her birthday, so it's ~destiny~ that she hook your characters up.

Just as well, I intend to have her subject to a Bleeding Heart. It'll tug her toward apathy, where taste, smell, touch and more is dulled and helps with a sense of hopelessness as the Heart feeds on her. Even her colors will fade, leaving her more monotone and grayscale as time goes on.

To help, she will have a special dreamscape: A masquerade ball! All who enter will be in appropriate attire for the lovely party, where the hostess "Madhuri"(?) will urge all to dance, drink and make merry! Link arms with anyone you like and feel the love! Ignore the voice coming from beneath the floor, it's nothing that concerns you. I have 2-3 different "solutions" planned that can cover pretty much all possibilities. Don't worry about multiple threads, it's roleplay rules here. Just have fun.

About: An arcanist with a prickly outside but a soft and caring inside. Slow to trust others and quick to sass them as well, but generally well-meaning. Has a small vigilante streak and is still a thief at heart, so she's basically Robin Hood but grumpier when she's in the mood for a bit of pickpocketing or swiping. Also possesses the Echo, an ability which effectively lets her see the memories of others. She also comes with a bonus Carbuncle, a glowing fluffy squirrel-dog summon who is not only much friendlier than his summoner, but he also comes in both wind and earth elemental flavors! (Please do not eat him though)

Plans:
Merisia is going to be rather gloomy this Valentine's Day as her crush is no longer present, and there's a strong possibility that this could become something more ominous if she's left to stew alone for too long. (Protip: distract her with sweets. It never fails.) She won't be a target for the Bleeding Hearts, though chances are she'll end up involved with trying to take care of them one way or another. Such is her luck.

The rise in crime has also piqued Merisia's interest. While she's something of a thief herself (though only when necessary, outside of that she's a grumpy robin hood at worst), she still has fairly strong morals and isn't above taking matters into her own hands if she comes across something going awry. If you need help catching a criminal, she's all too happy to help...in her own way.

For quests, Cupid's Arrow is one I'm eyeing! I'm not down for Merisia herself being hit by an arrow, but having her in the midst of the chaos or being the one setting off a few arrows (after some convincing from someone else) is also doable! Any of the gathering-related tasks such as Witch's Brew Apothecary, Rock Candy Crystals, or Spider Thread Traps are also great! (In the case of the latter it's also possible for Merisia to end up stuck in one while Carbuncle runs off to find help. He's helpful in more ways than just having a good nose!)

Finally, Merisia is considering opening a small tailor shop. She has done some sewing in the past, a trade she originally picked up out of necessity to save a few gil to repair her own clothes, but after some thought she's thinking about setting up shop for realsies. She'll also be working with her dreamotion magic as usual, and trying to see what new techniques she can cook up.
