Welcome to Songerein's Plot With Me Meme! It's an abbreviated version of the CR Meme where the main focus is figuring what you want to do for the month, such as listing out which quests you're interested, any personal plots you have in mind, and initial thoughts on the event (event will have its own plotting section as always). It's similar to a CR Meme, with just a little different focus on the form. You can refer to the Mod Announcement for plotting ideas for the month and beyond!

BEATRIX | FINAL FANTASY IX

Character: Beatrix | roseofmay
Canon: Disc II (Post the destruction of Cleyra)
About: She's a military general dedicated to concepts like honour, integrity, and justice, with some shady behaviour in her past. A bit cold on the outside, but underneath all of that, quite a bit kind of heart on the inside. (For more, feel free to read her application.)

Plans:
- Likely to be involved in helping innocent animals in Spider Thread Traps. She loves thinking her sword is capable of everything, so I suspect she'll just do the same thing here. Also animals. Beatrix does actually like animals.
- She isn't of the lovey, dovey affectionate sort, so whilst she wouldn't be affected by the Bleeding Hearts shenannigans, undoubtedly she knows people who would, so she'll probably consider lending a hand.
- Other than the above, I'm pretty open to ideas. Bea just needs more excuses to be a little more personable. (She is, however, working on it.)

I'm not sure if it'll come up in our current thread, but Eustace has been wanting to learn how to do healing magic and he maaaay poke Beatrix about it if she can help

He keeps doing stuff for her. Eventually she's going to have to reject his offers to help her and try to make up for seeming like she doesn't have a handle on her own stuff. (She would definitely help him with healing magic.)

See, I did that tag before I came here and inadvertently got us close to that. I call that a win in my book.

Also, right now, Eustace has more points in her book because at least Eustace doesn't know how terrible a person she actually is. (Not... that Zidane's ever called her a terrible person.)

Tbh I was like "SHOULD I JUST WAIT AND WORK IT IN THE THREAD" but I also wanted to bring it up to you so I was like xC and went ahead lmfao IT WORKS OUT

And see, he could have been so much worse—and while he would kind of judge her he'd also understand a little. Yay militaryesque backgrounds......

But I am enjoying their CR immensely they should one day just have a chill day. Although working together would also be fun.

We did iiiiit. It's a Bob Ross Happy Accident!

I love Beatrix and Eustace. She is so awkward around him and I'm really enjoying getting to play her like that because she's usually so in charge. It gives me this opportunity to explore all of these other sides to her and she's, little by little, showing more of herself to him. It just gives me so many warm and fuzzies. Eustace is so good for her.

Yesss they bounce off well and come to think of it she may be the only CR he (currently) has that's similar to him, so he can vibe pretty well. Especially since he can see a lot of his old self in Beatrix so he's like, "I know she'll hate it but—" lol.

That kind of connection they have allows him to pick out things about herself that she can hide from others, though he would likely know better. It kind of gives him an advantage and lets him know how to get her to open up without being too hard about it. She might find it annoying right now, but she'll come to value it, because it also means she won't always have to express her feelings with him.

Yesss as a former Ice King (well still kind of is to a degree—Chilled King? /rimshot) he knows when it's time thaw a bit. Definitely looking forward to see how they get along!!

Hello! I am really loving Sora and Beatrix' first thread and I'm so ready for Sora to get his ass kicked, just saying--

I'd love to do more with you sometime soon! Sora might need a beating for the Bleeding Hearts problem!

I am both amused and incredibly guilty over Beatrix's treatment of him. He's not a kid. She knows he's not. And she's so unkind...! But here he is tolerating her. Sora's adorable, by the way, and a great foil for Bea.

Given his very open heart, I'm sure he's a prime candidate for Bleeding Hearts. She'd be only too happy to beat him up a little. Well, maybe not take joy in it. She's not a completely awful person. I would be super into her helping him out. Maybe she'll be a little nicer to him the next time around.

Canon: Post Ending D
About: Nier is a good old man who loves his daughter more than anything else in the world, and has an adamant devotion toward those he would consider his friends. Happy to meddle in affairs that don't involve him, he harbours a great deal of self-criticism over his skills as a father. (His app is here for those who would like more info.)

Plans:
- Nier is more than likely only too happy to involve himself in the procurement of Rocky Candy Crystals, and though he may be interested in acquiring some for his own personal use, he'll probably be more inclined to pass around what he gets to others around him.
- It could be interesting to have him afflicted on the Bleeding Hearts event, but that's an idle thought at present. He is the sort who's a bit sentimental and devoted to those he considers close, so it could be a little fun to play him being less-than-kind.
- He wants to keep his sword in good condition, but probably has an interest in looking at other weapons as well, given that he only arrived with one. He probably also watches little kids play and thinks of how much he misses his daughter.

I haven't gathered my thoughts about what I want to do with Mammon this month, but I absolutely love this sweet old man and would love to have more interactions between these two :'>

To my understanding, this month's event is right around the corner, and I still haven't decided if I wanted to top-level or not. I might make him a catch-all. I was planning to do that last month and then I just kept putting it off because I'm an expert procrastinator.

If you don't put something up, I can put together something for us. I love Mammon and Nier. (He's so not used to being the Old One in the situation.)
