Welcome to our first Enable Me Plz meme! We have two different forms for your use. The one you see right now is for EMP ads for players who have a character they're interested in bringing in and could use some feedback or encouragement. Also serves for anyone who just want to express their interest of hey, this is who I want to bring! For those advertising themselves, include information about the character and what you hope to do while in game! It's a great opportunity for questions, too.

As for image limitations, the code will automatically resize large images widths to 200px (images under 200px won't be affected) so you can use whatever you want that looks good. Gifs, static, whatever fits.

You can put multiple ads in one comment or make them separate, whatever you prefer!

EMET-SELCH
FINAL FANTASY XIV

Hello! I started voice-testing Emet-Selch after finishing Endwalker and am hoping to try him out in a game.

He's a skilled mage with the ability to perceive souls, and serves officially as an expert on all things related to the aetherial sea, colloquially The Underworld. He can be quite dramatic, complains constantly, and gets dragged about on the regular by two insufferable troublemakers and needled into doing things he absolutely has no interest in doing, thank you. (Mostly he just wants to find a nice spot to nap, or so I hear.)

There's a few different reasons I think he'd be a great fit for Song, not the least of which being that he can be very industrious depending on the circumstances. He's a plotter and a long-term planner, and despite him preferring to watch, when it comes right down to it he gets things done.

Emet-Selch also happens to come from a culture of people who create concepts on the norm - new lifeforms and new ideas to better the world around them. When he learns of an energy called "dynamis" (very similar to emotion energy here), he's both taken aback that he's never heard of it before, but also very interested - thus, I think he'd take well to learning of it and learning to work with it.

Despite his general unpleasantness at times, those who know him make note of his sentimentality, and one must imagine that someone with his knowledge and ability would also be able to dream great things. If taken from a pre-sundering canonpoint, I'd love to explore how his character might develop separate of the results we see in Shadowbringers, and if taken post-Shadowbringers, I think his wealth of experience might prove a boon to everyone here, and it could simply be fun to watch him assimilate himself into a new group of people.

Haha yes, I was really surprised to see someone considering Hyth so soon! One moment I looked away from the EMP, and upon next refresh there he was: the "wao sugoi" gremlin friend!

The Ancients in general are really good at doing that, I've found. Endwalker was a game-changer for me as far as this guy goes, though I found the whole Elpis cast really likeable.

And either way's fine by me! I'm mostly active on discord, but have been trying to start poking plurk again.

I've always wanted to throw Sora at Emet-Selch! Kingdom Hearts has a lot of similar concepts that happen in Endwalkers, and the whole darkness vs light stuff. I hope you try him out!

Thank you! Honestly, that sounds like a very fun and entertaining meeting, even moreso depending on the canonpoint I might ultimately choose to go with! (He's not altogether a fan of heroes, obviously, but... his tolerance can vary a great deal depending on how old and tired he is when he gets here.)

He might even be inclined to think Sora is one of Hydaelyn's chosen, if but briefly. (He definitely reads like a Warrior of Light!)

Semi bonded over the whole ‘broken things shouldn’t stay broken’ kinda thing. Kind of took good old Emet-Selch by surprise that Vanitas isn’t satisfied with his own broken state and would do whatever he thought he needed to in order to fix that. So he more or less approved of what the Ascians wanted to do?

But yeah. Lots of discussion of Darkness and Light. Van was pretty close to at least two of the WoL’s in game too and they all kind of lived together lol.

Vanitas just knows a little too much. Prooobably gonna piss him off a bit if you decide to app.

Ooh! All very interesting! And yes, I imagine it would definitely annoy him to no end to have some stranger know so much about himself and their plans (not that irritating him is difficult to do, but still).

And in a way the change of perspective might be refreshing, too. Understanding is the first step towards mutually beneficially cooperation, right??

Hello Luna! And yesss, best catboy hands down! (He is one of my favs, tbh. I cried for him so much post-ShB and not a single tear for Emet but here we are now, haha.)

Their CR in a nutshell: either two hissing cats or... or whatever strange creature would be born of pre-sundering!Emet meeting G'raha and being all like "excuse you! you do not know me but you will tell me all about it right now." Either way sounds like a good time. :')

I really liked him in Crystal Tower but there wasn't enough. And then over halfway through ShB had me going, "ALRIGHT, GAME. I GET IT." I absolutely figured the Exarch was him from the get go lol. And now I'm obsessed with him and I love him a lot. (It's funny how that works out, isn't it?)

Honestly it's the very definition of "it's complicated". You shot him, after all. He just updated to EW actually, so he'll have heard about him from the WoL's time in Elpis. Either way, I'm in for all of the chaos.

I felt that way about the Crystal Tower, too!

For me I got spoiled on the Exarch's identity thanks to a certain figure I recognized on the Square Enix online store. "Ah, why would they give their figures such fanciful titles," I wondered. "Why didn't they just use his name?" And then when I reached ShB I realized I was in trouble haha.

And yes, it's very complicated. But then that's basically all of Emet's connections to other people, I suppose. But yeah, totally here for the chaos! I can only apologize in advance.
