✵ ACTIVITY CHECK: FEBRUARY 2022 ✵
It's time for the monthly Activity Check!
FOR THE ROMEO AND JULIET EVENT please don't forget to submit your threads so they can be used in determining what kind of rewards and effects we'll have post event!
Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:
- Only threads dated from February 1st through February 28th will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
- You must provide 2 threads of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character. This means it must be some combination of 5+5. Not 6+4 or 2+8.
- Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
- Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
- Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) was not used for the previous month.
- Test Drive threads will count, however we have a one TDM thread limit. Because our TDM is bimonthly, only the February TDM will count for this AC. You cannot use the same thread from the previous AC.
- You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
- Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.
There will be no warnings. All submissions are due Monday, February 28th 11:59PM US Central.

✵ BONUS INQUIRIES ✵
This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.
You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

Extra Note: Ferran used his hypnosis magic on some NPCs to break up a fight and publicly copied some stolen items to "return" them, because he's trying to be a good boy(?).
Barok, meanwhile, has started a small vineyard near his home... and then turned his tree into a temporary ice fortress thanks to a bleeding heart's influence. It's better by the end of the month. Mostly.

So while I was on hiatus-76 went full Noctaere due to not being as well as he or others believed(and hoped), stalking out into the darkness of the moonless night and made a giant fucking mess through some scattered parts of the town, residential district, and some of the Wildlands. A few unoccupied buildings have holes in the walls, and areas where the bricks were melted through. The shadow wolves created were a great distraction even with the few people who came across the Noctaere itself.He got better, it's fine.
Quest Request: This would just be from some random NPC;
CLEAN UP HELP!
There are patches of frozen areas covered in thick vines and thorns that have attracted nightmare energy corrupted animals; some of these animals are trapped within the twisting vines. These need to be destroyed, but be careful as not only are the thorns sharp, but the frozen pieces are cold enough to burn if touched with bare skin. They are scattered throughout the residential and town areas, and some are also within the areas of the Wildlands closest to occupied areas. Dreamotion fire and other positive feelings seem to help melt these otherwise unthawing thorn-covered vines. Careful of shards if simply broken, they slice in to skin easily and burn. Don't try to eat any of the animals' meat if killed, they're rotted through-and-through.
Rewards are peace of mind and getting rid of potential dangers so close to residents.

Extra Note: Hunter had a lot of fun with the magic arrows... And accidentally caught an NPC thief in the process. Then he got into a a battle of sorts with fellow love archer Hans, with a cafe getting caught up in the chaos. The chaos was finally ended when an evil duck knocked the crossbow out of Hunter's hands and triggered his dog instincts.

Extra Note: While helping to clear out the spider thread traps, Ryunosuke and Zidane happened on a small mouse-like creature. Rather than fur, it seems to grow tea leaves. The flavor of those tea leaves is dependent on the creature's mood. If it's sleepy, you may get a chamomile tea. If it's excited you may get something with a bright citrus flavor. More complex feelings may produce something new and wild that confounds the taste buds. So it's quite fascinating. The creature also has sugar claws and can produce an extra sweet drops of honey from it's tail.

Extra Note: Jude and Yujin have set up an IC clinic that's now officially open to public. It's at the north of town plaza between the residential and market district, close to the riverside. The second floor will be dedicated to research into plants and development of medicine in relation to it. Will probably start providing first aid kits good to travel with down the road, other additions may come depending on IC developments. It has no fancy name because neither of them really mind, it's just the "Reverein Communal Clinic" until further notice.

Extra Note: New variant Dawn Flower formed and grew on Noctaere 76 earlier this month. No notable difference of the original to mention at this moment, though we talked about it being able to gather Noctaere energy. Thus they make good flowers to be used to possibly extract that energy for study purposes (or for darker reasons), but that is something players/characters have to figure out later. So far Kazuma managed to pull one and passed it to the Mikotoba's.

There's one extra tag in the second one from 1/31 to make five - unfortunately work unexpectedly punched me in the face this month and I was only able to tag one or two days a week, so despite having several threads from this month none of them are super long.
