ACTIVITY CHECK: MAY 2024 It's time for the monthly Activity Check!

Please refer to the Activity Check section in our Game Info page for complete details, but here is the quick list of what you need to know:

Only threads dated from May 1st through May 31st will count. (Exception: certain backdated threads, TDM threads, read the sections for more details.)
You must provide one thread of at least 5 comments each. The comment count is from your character.
Any thread counts, including those made within your own entries and subthreads within your own toplevels. Individual entry posts do not count.
Continuation threads are considered as part of the previous thread so they count as one thread not two. Please link both separately so we don't get confused.
Backdated threads can be counted so long as they 1) start in the previous month, 2) the majority of the comments are in the current AC month, and 3) were not used for the previous month.
You are exempt from any checks for hiatuses that last for over 21 days. Anything less and you'll still need to submit your AC unless there are other circumstances.
As a reminder to those who received a special free AC pass back in December 2022. If you plan to use it, unless there is an extreme personal emergency, we will not allow a hiatus exemption before or after the month of using the pass. This is so we don't get a weird case of { Hiatus > Free Pass } or { Free Pass > Hiatus } or { Hiatus > Free Pass > Hiatus } scenarios as that would effectively allow a player to skip two to three ACs in a row and we do not want that.

Because we are a capped game, there is no strike system. If you do not make the AC requirements, you will be cut.

There will be no warnings. All submissions are due Friday, May 31st 11:59PM US Central.

BONUS INQUIRIES This is not required and completely optional, but included in the AC submission form is a field to allow players to note any special incidents, encounters, or discoveries that occurred in their threads. So if a character found some creature or a location, you are welcome to include it so we can add it to the setting. You are also free to comment for other submissions on the World Directory.

You can also make quest requests to be included in the upcoming Dream Boards. If possible we'll add them immediately, otherwise we'll save them for the next Board. If you don't have one in mind, you can post it later to the upcoming Mod Announcement.

Extra Note: For The Wild Harvest

<a href="https://steadypulse.dreamwidth.org/4615.html ">The Wild Harvest</a> serves various western and eastern style earth-based street food dishes. A specials menu is rotated every month.

The Specials Menu for <b>June</b> is;

<a href="https://thedinner.app/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Banh-Mi_Header.jpg">Bánh mì</a>- A fresh baked baguette with thin crispy crust and air insides sliced, filled with your choice of seasoned and grilled/steamed protein(s). Also filled with pickled carrot, daikon, and sliced cucumber. Crisp cilantro and chilis add a little extra flavor. Comes with a mayo/soy sauce mixture.

Comes served over rice.

<a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fh7tmwLacAArESn.jpg">Raspberry Soda Float</a>- Refreshing raspberry soda colored with syrups to range between blue and purple, topped with a choice of either vanilla or pineapple ice cream. Both flavors made in-house and add a nice creaminess that can help cool off a hot day.

Garnished with a bit of lemon peel for zest and a maraschino cherry.

Pleasantly firm to bite into and practically melts in the mouth. Topped with whole blueberries and white chocolate drizzle.

<a href="https://64.media.tumblr.com/f957fa56dad984e85ee4ff8d0f0c2d21/tumblr_p0j5gppUds1sn5m44o1_640.jpg">Peach Cookies</a>- Cute peach-shaped cookies coated in a light dusting of peach flavored sugar and a peach compote filling with a little bit of cream for those who are a fan of peaches and cream. Crisp and buttery cookies are a delight to bite into or pull apart to enjoy. The mint leaf added for decoration is edible.

With the pleasant weather, and all of the blooms and green growth within the Wild Harvest's greenhouse, more outdoor seating within the space has been arranged for those who want to enjoy that fresh air and breeze that comes through the opened window panels. A few bright blue honey bees can be spotted as well- some your average size and others more the size of kittens/puppies as they move along flowers; don't worry, they are friendly- and very fluffy.

At any entrance some may notice <a href="https://i.pinimg.com/736x/b7/cd/8d/b7cd8d01b050cec1b25c82ec8c54dde2.jpg"> a sign</a> hanging very visibly<s>along with some handwritten additions that could only be Reaper that sound a little unhinged the further they're read into</s>. Still, as people do come and go, there's need for new full or part time workers at the Harvest. Hopefully your interview is with old man 76 instead of the looming Reaper. Good luck all the same to those that come seeking to help out.
